Unfortunately an awful first experience at this restaurant. We waited 50+ minutes for our food to arrive after ordering - both orders were completely cold, not warm but actually COLD - burgers, wings, and fries. Drinks were never refilled throughout our time there. Waitress quite literally forgot about us. Will most likely not return, certainly not on Sunday while trying to enjoy a game.

Food was below average. Had 2 orders of 6 piece boneless wings, and a buffalo pizza. Wings were very fatty, couldn’t eat a couple of them. Pizza was ok, nothing special. The server/bartender/manager (one person) did a good job for being solo.

If I could leave zero stars I would. Awful service, we never even got our food actually. The table next to us walked out because their food was wrong and server demanded it wasn’t. It was an awful experience. We had considered buying a franchise but ABSOLUTELY not. What a poor excuse for a restaurant.

The food isn’t bad and our server was nice enough. However, another server (Sarah) ruined the experience for us. We were seated at a table close to the podium and kitchen entrance. Every time she walked by she huffed and puffed, yelled, or rolled her eyes at someone. I understand having bad days but it seems like this person shouldn’t be a server. We witnessed a guest who was waiting for their table ask specifically not to be sit at her table because they saw her attitude as well. Management needs to do something about her.

Wings were not hot and almost no sauce on them. The beef on weck was terrible not a beef on weck. Wings anywhere else are better than here. Service was terrible on plate of food ordered was ice cold.

Very disappointed. I took my mom there who grew up in Buffalo, New York on a Friday afternoon. I ordered the wings with original sauce. The wings came out, smothered in sauce like gravy and the wings were luke warm and tasted like they had been sitting out for a while. She ordered the roast beef on wek and the roll had a soft crust not like a Kimmelwek. There was one waiter for the entire restaurant. Won’t be back.

My husband is from Buffalo and we have been to the original anchor bar many times. That being said.. the wings are fantastic but the pizza is not the same crust it's a little doughy. The blue cheese dressing is the best!!!Overall a good place to bring the family

I am from Buffalo and the original on
Main Street was one of my hangouts before moving South. The food was good, but what they served as a Beef on Weck was actually a slider......not a traditional Buffalo BOW, but a very small version of a Buffalo BOW that was consumed in a two bites each half. $15 for a slider is not what I expected from the Anchor Bar I frequented in Buffalo. Very disappointed in the experience.
