AVOID. Owner is a COMPLETE jerk. Food is terrible. Drinks are weak. Never know if they are going to be opened or closed. Overall scene is super lame. Wish they could get some new owners.

Love the food, the best French onion soup, sandwiches, wings etc... drinks are awesome and everything is fresh and very friendly staff.

Nice folk, lots of locals, kind service, good drinks. The fare seems to be heavy pub type food, different and tastes good but it's heavy in oils and fats, not my type, but the appetizer was unique and delicious, just wet with cooking oil.

The food is great but the service is terrible. None of the employees seemed particularly happy to be there, least of all our server (glasses, brown hair, she never gave her name), and we had to go find someone any time we needed something. The food really is very tasty, it’s a shame the service is so bad.

We always love coming to bar north for trivia on wednesdays at 7:30. (Make sure you call ahead or you might not get a seat!) We've been coming for a couple years now and David is such a great host!! He's funny and plays good music for the questions. As long as you listen to the rules of the game, it's smooth sailing for all who play. Make sure your answer is in before the music ends and your team number and points are written on your paper!The food and staff are wonderful too and they always have food specials that change.Parking sucks though tbh.
Alicia is not a good fit as a bartender for this place. Made several customers mad and uncomfortable by requiring them to drink a glass of water before their next drink. This act was done without exhibiting any wrong doing by the customer. Alicia is also on camera drinking on the job, which is a huge legal liability to the business. Any "help" she is trying to do while forcing customers to drink water is negated in the court room once the bartender starts drinking.

Summary - Above average food, involved manager, but rude, threatening and degrading "entertainment)First time in with friends from out of town and they wanted to play trivia. We were quickly sat and got our drink orders.Prices were high for bar food, but it's in front of a large neighborhood that can command higher prices. I approached the trivia host and immediately asked how his day was, his reply, " I don't care, what's your team name. " No one was waiting behind me. I gave our name as " Team Name " and he said it was inappropriate and to choose again.Went back to the team, we decided on another name that involved a decimal point. I went back to the trivia host and said, "Does *new team name* meet the requirements? "I guess this was a breaking point as he immediately raised his voice, cursed at me, told me he would not be disrespected and that we needed to leave. I tried to get a word in, apologize if my words had upset him, and try to call him down. He only got louder. A server walked over and tried to get him to calm down but he began getting disrespectful to her. Finally, the owner came over and his behavior did not improve. I asked the owner if we could play or not (first thing I'd said in a couple minutes) and the host kept talking over the manager.We were allowed to play and I even offered to the host that I wouldn't bring up any answers so that there would be no issues. I was cursed at again and went back to my table.Our waitress came over, apologized (knowing her tip was on the line) and made a comment that he's known for doing this and driving people away. After she left, the owner came over to apologize further and made a similar statement that "he's been off for a couple weeks now".Food came out and was better than average bar food and justified the higher menu prices.I will not return however due to the dangerous outside "entertainment" brought in that is allowed to disrespect, threaten and curse out guests.

Service was horrible we were the only people that ordered food out of 8 people that were in there. And we waited for almost 30 minutes and decided to get up and leave. Seen 2 of the kitchen staff walking back in the door as we were leaving and the one that served us was rude.

Nice chill spot. I stopped their to take a break from the traffic and meet a friend whole waiting. It was real chill with affordability bar food that you really wanted eat. Excellent twist on the grill cheese sandwich.
