Brisket and pork are delicious. Staff is very friendly, and accommodating. Where it falls short in my opinion are the sides, specifically the mac n cheese and the coleslaw. There is virtually no cheese in the mac, and the coleslaw has no flavor whatsoever. Recipes for both have definitely changed since ownership change. The beans are excellent though. Just my honest opinion.

Great local BBQ joint with great brisket and pulled chicken. Haven't tried the pulled pork yet but I'm sure it's good as well based on the other meat. We coming and friendly service. Definitely try it out.

Great little bbq place. Tried their sputzilla today with chicken and side of green beans. It’s a monster and I am still full. This was top tier bbq and it’s very popular for a reason!

Have eaten here on many occasions but today the food was not good. I ordered the barbecue chicken white meat and it was not cooked and did not have enough sauce on it. The Mac and cheese was awful and the barbecue pull pork had a bad taste to it. Not sure what’s going on but we ended up throwing out take out order away.

Had the brisket sandwich with slaw and a side of greens, one of the special sides of the day. The brisket was excellent! Hot, tender, fell apart nicely, great smoke flavor, just delicious! Greens were also very good, nice little tanginess to them. Staff were very friendly, advised on brisket instead of pulled pork since a fresh brisket was just about to be sliced. The owner checked on how everything tasted, took some time to have a little conversation. Overall, a great little place and meal. Will stop by again!

Stopped in for a late dinner close to 7:30 and the service and food were amazing! We had been driving by for a while and regret not coming in sooner! We got the ribs, pulled pork, collards, brunswick stew, and the mac and cheese and everything was perfect! Definitely a must try!

I met a buddy of mine who lives nearby for lunch and it was fantastic. I drove from Buckhead and it was worth the drive for real BBQ. Care was put into cooking the meat and sides. I had the sliced brisket sandwich, slaw and beans and brought chicken home for the family for the next night. It was a huge hit. Everything was excellent.
The sauces added to the meal, the service was great, the restaurant is clean. The new owners really care and are doing an excellent job. I will be back.
Great BBQ joint. I had the sampler platter. Great food! Couldn’t eat it all. Met the owner. Real nice guy. Turns out he cooks in competitions. Competed in Memphis. Had a lot of trophies displayed. I’ll definitely go back. Try the brisket!
