The Kennesaw location has permanently closed down. Good riddance.

Great place to eat if you're looking for someplace quiet and friendly. Definitely the best ramen I've ever had. A bit small, but the food made up for it 10-fold, highly recommend.

I don't have much to say. The food was good but mediocre at best. Bowls half filled. Not many toppings added to the ramen. Broth tasted odd on all 3 ramen we ordered. Atmosphere was lacking. Place seems run down and the AC was not working. Hot inside this restaurant and tables seemed dirty and very old. Food quality was not great but not horrible. Not sure, walking in, the energy of this place just seemed, down. Reflected on the food.

Edit. The last photo of ramen is mine I made at home (Not in a black bowl)

Honestly, you can make better ramen than this place and you can fill your bowl up with broth. Which is what you're supposed to do.

Great ramen at a reasonable price here in Kennesaw! I've been here a few times and the food is consistently very flavorful, well made and always satisfying. If you're trying ramen for the first time or have specific wants for what goes on your ramen, I highly recommend the create your own Ramen.

I ordered a 3 protein poke bowl.
When I arrived at the 154 Roswell location. 1st things first. NO PARKING. second there was nobody in the restaurant. No one greeted me. And I waited for 5 mins only to look around and even look in the back(the kitchen) for no one to be found. I found my order sitting on a counter. Not in the refrigerator. Now the order.. I ordered a 3 protein rice poke bowl with lots of topping. Only for me to get home and only find 1 protein with a very small portion of rice with lots of topping and very very small amount of sauses applied to the bowl. Very disappointing experience. Don't recommend anyone vist this location. I on the other hand do recommend you visit 440 Ernest W Barrett Pkwy location. They are very well put together. They have a large area of seating. The customer service was amazing and they even asked if everything was correct on my order before giving it to me. Gave me extra sauses on the side and their 3 protein bowl was stuffed to brim.

Came here with my wife looking for something good to eat around the area. Walking into the place it smelled good and the interior was nice. Despite this, it was absolutely empty. I mean no one was in there, which was really odd for about 3 o' clock on a Sunday in the summer, this should have set some red flags for me immediately, but maybe people were at the mall down the road, so I let it pass and continued anyway. I ordered just a simple ramen bowl and my wife ordered a poke bowl with some sauces. As we were ordering, the way the man upfront explained things was very confusing and when we asked questions, he didn't really elaborate, he just uttered the same thing he had already said leaving us more confused. The price wasn't horrible... but $23 for just some ramen and a bowl did seem a little higher than you would've expected, but again I let it pass hoping that it would be worth the price.

The food was out fast... like really fast... which was odd but its just ramen and some fried rice with raw fish right? It couldn't take that long, so I also payed no mind. It looked great (my meal shown in the photo.) I took a few bites of my food and didn't immediately notice anything wrong with my food, the broth tasted good, but the noodles were barely even subpar. They were almost hard. The beef was... beef... nothing standout or special about it. However, the veggies were raw and crunchy which was really gross. After those first few bites, I had already slowed down eating, which is odd for me. Ask my wife, I always clean a plate, so for me to not even get past a few bites, something was off.

My wife started digging into her's and ate much more than I did, though she was absolutely starving and it was her birthday, so she just wanted to get some food in her tummy. But she had suddenly stopped after a little bit, which was also weird to me cause she's like me and can clean a plate, especially when its asian food. She had told me that the salmon in her bowl was weird, and the rice was overcooked (how do you even manage that,) so we both decided this place was just okay and that we had wasted our money.

As we were leaving though, she started looking pale and I asked her if she was okay and she said she started not feeling good. Keep in mind we were literally only outside of the main door, we hadn't even made it past the entrance. Then she started hurling, almost vomiting immediately. This was only mere minutes after we had eaten, so something had to have been severely wrong with our food for her to get sick that quickly. I also started feeling bad, but I didn't eat as much.

After getting my wife in the car, I decided to do something I have never once done at a restaurant, I came back inside and tried to ask for a refund. Now initially the guy (same as who took our order) seemed reasonable and understanding. I told him the situation that was happening with my wife, and that my food was also not great, but then he changed. He got a huge attitude and started saying, "Well I need a better reason to provide you with a refund." Which befuddled me, what better reason do you need than us feeling sick from it? But still, I just calmly told him that we both found the food not very good, and we did not enjoy our meal. He then proceeded to not only come back with that attitude again, asking for a "better reason," but also now was starting to cut ME off while I was giving him my reason. I was so dumbfounded, I just didnt say a word and left.

This had to be one of the worst experiences with customer service I had ever experienced, at least within a restaurant. My stomach and my wife's as well would advise for you to go the food court at the mall instead, there are much better options there for cheaper.

My wife got food poisoning and was throwing up for an hour when we got home. :)

TL:DR if the resteraunt isnt rated at LEAST 4.5 stars on goo

Good food, very helpful, knowledgeable and kind staff. Everyone greeted me as I walked up to the counter. Young woman at the counter was extremely knowledgeable of the dishes and their flavors. I tried the Chickn-Chickn minus the egg and was very pleased. It had a bit of spice to it the brussel sprouts were a good flavor just as described.
All was good however, the sweet tea I planned to get was sour and past the time to be replaced. No biggie though, I got water instead. Bōru may want to keep on top of that being in the south and possibly add more beverages for those like me that want an alternative to sodas and artificial drinks.

In my opinion, refresher style drinks are a better pairing with these type of dishes.
All in all though, good spot, I'd recommend and go to again.

Vegetarian options: You could choose tofu as a protein, build your own, or remove the meat from any dish.

The food was good, we got poke bowls and it was a lot of food for the price. The restaurant was dark and dusty. If I went back I would get it to go.

My wife got pork ramen and I got a poke bowl.
It was absolutely fantastic.
The employees were nothing but helpful and we got our food in 5 minutes of less.

My order is messed up every time I order delivery from Boru. Either things are forgotten or it's poor quality. Today, I received a poke bowl and the brown rice was so hard, it could break a tooth. I've never had a problem with Boru when I actually go there, but they underdeliver every single time with delivery orders.

The bowl I got was great. Everything else was kinda rough. $2.50 for a 12 drink? That's absurd. Also the temperature of the place was really hot for not reason. Set a comfortable thermostat man. Come on.

The gyozilla ramen was wonderful. Very filling, plenty of food for one. The mochi ice cream was a little expensive. It's $6 for 3 and they're certainly the My Mochi brand from the grocery store.

Innocently Insane

Do not eat here or at the marietta location. The workers do not recieve tips. Management steals them and in addition does not pay them fairly. This is factual, I used to work here. Not to mention the methods of food storage is questionable. They have a roach infestation as well as evidence of mice droppings where to-go containers are stored.

If you've had food poisoning from here before, it's because staff recieves 0 training from management. You rely on your other coworkers who also are not trained in proper food saftey, so you can bet your food is prepped and stored in dangerous temperatures or contaminated. So undercooked chicken , warm raw fish, and dirty ungloved hands all the way through. Give your money to somewhere with better food saftey practices and somewhere they care for their workers and customers.

I placed an online order and my boyfriend arrived a few minutes early to pick up our order. Nobody started working on our order until 5 minutes after the designated pick up time (30 minutes after the order was placed). Had the restaurant been busy, I would understand a delay, but there were minimal people inside (all who already had their food). I do love this place and have never had any issues, but as someone who has worked in the food industry this was incredibly unprofessional.
