we placed a mobile order around 4:45 PM and at first it told us it will be ready at 5:05 so we get there and then we go in and they tell us it won’t be ready until 5:35 so we come back at 5:35 and then we sat inside and waited until 6:10 PM before we got our food and there was barely even anyone in there. Also we only ordered one item.

Go to place for catering! Bola is awesome. She was very helpful in helping with my order. I was placing pan orders for the week. It’s really nice to have a taste of home. I can’t wait to order more food!!!

Worst food I have had in my life, the egusi tasted like livestock. Like a dirty barn. I am sorry, but man this was terrible. The beef was so bad it was brown and dried on the inside. The meat was definitely spoiled. Like where do they get their meat from. Everything was awful even the service. I can't believe they are allowed to be in business. The goat was sooo tough, a person couldnt even bite into it. My dogs wouldn't even try the food. THe egusi was so oily and the Joloff was mid. Only a little flavor. 43$ for two entrees was insane!

I attended taste of Smyrna so to be fair, they had a booth and I did not go to the restaurant. Taste of Smyrna advertised I believe 7-10$ food. I was not expecting to get a whole meal. I ordered jollof rice and beef. There was no sample portion just items. I had to ask for the price- 12$ again wasn’t expecting a meal. Very discreet in serving- bagged and everything! I go eat and think there was a mistake! I received so much rice and a beef stew piece of beef! Just one! Like literally smaller than a McDonald’s chicken nugget. No sauce- I returned asked showed the workers and they just looked at me? I just said do you see anything wrong? The response our plates
Are 23$! Do u want more rice? The beef was cold and rice was not cooked all the way! The flavor was decent. For a restaurant to be at an event and use foil pans with wrinkly foil should have been my first red flag all others had professional equipment- pictures and even sample portions. It was deceiving be honest about portions “app plates taste plates” and even in that 1 piece of meet is ridiculous!!!!! All others didn’t bag or hid the food you got a small bowl a sandwhich in wax paper- after reading other reviews 20$ for two pieces of meat? Literally prime cut of steak at any establishment is less!
