On Sunday, September 9, 2025, my family and I had an early dinner at Copeland's on Barrett Parkway. Our server, Jacob, was exceptional; he was kind, professional, and courteous. However, there was an issue with our steak order. We had requested it be cooked medium well, but it arrived medium. We asked for it to be sent back and substituted for another item of comparable price.

The manager approached us and inquired if we wanted the steak cooked to the correct temperature. We explained that we no longer wanted the steak and preferred to try something different, like the salmon. Unfortunately, the manager's demeanor, body language, and overall attitude were rather rude and did not reflect the standards we associate with Copeland's.

Despite this experience, we tipped our waiter generously and left the restaurant. I have been a loyal customer of Copeland's in Kennesaw for over ten years and have never encountered such a disappointing level of professionalism from a manager.

Okay okay okay. Where do I even start!!! I’m so excited. My husband and I would frequent this Copeland’s on any occasion while living in kennesaw. We’re located in Roswell and have not been in over 5 years now. We just recently celebrated our wedding anniversary and decided to share that celebration with Copeland’s for brunch. Aww man, it did not disappoint. This particular day we went on a Saturday which for us is recommended since Sundays are always extremely packed and the wait is an hour or more. This day was a breeze we sat down with no problem and was able to try everything that was laid out! Chef’s kiss.

The gumbo and the red beans and rice are amazing. The gumbo reminds me of my grandma's gumbo which says a lot.

I am so sad, we had to leave after we waited 30 minute for a table. Then we waited another 30 minutes and didn’t get our drinks, and the appetizer was never made. The poor server was swamped, it’s not his fault. Very disappointed.

While the food was excellent (as always), it is my routine server Mike who keeps me coming back! He is a gem!!! Keeps my glass full and remembers my preferences when I sometimes forget. I would give him 10 stars if I could!!!

The crab cakes were really good, the server was honest and funny and amazing. The music was loud enough to hear but not so loud that you had to to speak louder for your table to hear you. The Alfredo sauce was pretty bland which was a huge bummer after the crab cakes but overall great experience.

We had the spinach artichoke dip, grilled chicken and yams, and chicken parm. The grilled chicken wasn't as tender as it normally is. Everything else was good. Mike, our server, was great from start to finish. Friendly without hovering as well as knowledgeable of the menu and giving suggestions.

Went there for lunch. Was super excited since it's been years since ate here. Biggest let down. I got the seafood platter which was very lack luster. Just thrown on the plate with no attention to presentation. The fried shrimp was basic. Nothing special. The crab cake had some disgusting white sauce skeated on it. Mainly fillers not really crab meat. The red beans and rice was weird tasting and had a film on top like it had but sitting out. The waiter did bare minimal. Wish I would have just ate something across the street. I regret not just sending it back and leaving

I ordered the salmon with roasted potatoes and cream of spinach—it was flavorful, hot, and delicious. Our server Mike was attentive and pleasant, making the meal even better.
