My and Eye tried this restaurant. My wife had a cheeseburger and Eye had the fish they both were very bland even with the condiment on them . The deserts were pretty good .

We had 3 main items, the butter burger with cheese, good choice, the cod sandwich, also a good choice, and the walleye dinner, large portion, it was ok. Assortment of sides , onion rings were good, cheese curds were good, the Cole slaw was good. Worth a visit.

Update on 1/31: waiting in the drive thru line currently over 30 minutes. Made my order around 8:00 pm. They were slow and no one seemed to be in a hurry at all. I received my order after 35 minutes and most of the order was wrong. All sandwiches were requested with no onions or tomatoes with pickles. Not one of them was correct.

I hate giving negative reviews like this but I’ve never experience anything like it. I hope they can fix this, but I will have to stay away for a while.

Looking forward to Portillo’s soon!

Prior post: Great service. They gave us exactly what we ordered, it was fast and the food was great! Reminds us of the Midwest.

It was dirty. I had to throw away trash and wipe tables so we could eat. The floors had stuff laying all around, and the drink station was gross. The food was just, eh. Honestly, I was less than impressed. We won't be back to this location.

I have tried multiple times trying to give this location a try every time I have gone in the past month the fries are not cooked long enough… and the workers in the drive-through are very rude. When I asked to add buffalo or ranch sauce they roll their eyes.. and I do not receive any sauces.. the cheese curds should come with marinara, and I received NO sauce. The fries being undercooked on multiple occasions….

Waiting 30 minutes for 2 burgers is crazy. Drive thru orders are flying out at record speed? Eat inside or get it to go? Wait forever.

I am from the Midwest - I LOVE Culver's! What I do not love is this particular franchise.

6-ish years ago, when the Culver's on Due West opened, I was thrilled to tell my sons who are massive fans. We were there opening days and the restaurant was slow and had some bumps, but it was their first weekend so we didn't think too much of it.

Over half a decade and one pandemic later, my family and I have come to believe the utter incompetence of the management and employees of this establishment is a social experiment.

To begin, Culver's is a FAST FOOD restaurant, but our meals are never prepared when we get to the window. We're a family of six, I've come to get everyone's meal or just a couple. On average, each meal adds 5 minutes to the wait time. I have seriously waited 30 minutes plus for fast food. The least they could do is refill my drink while I am waiting (this is only half a joke).

This isn't even the worst part.

Now, we are all aware prices have risen over the past few years, but for fast food, it still feels crazy that four chicken strips, cheese curds, and a soda run you $14 (x6 for my family).

When you are paying that price, you want it done right. The Due West Culver's always amazes me in their ability to do it WRONG. I would say two out of three visits result in them brining the incorrect item or forgetting something all together.

I marvel at my own stupidity to not ALWAYS CHECK THE BAG. My last visit, a $5+ order of cheese curds were left out, today spicy chicken tenders were given to us in lieu of regular ones. Of course they'd correct these errors if they were brought to attention, but that would mean driving fifteen minutes back or waiting another five minutes.

The food industry is not fun to work in - I've been there. It's hard work and people suck. I'm sure some reading this think I am one of those sucky people. All of this is the culmination of SIX years of consistently abysmal quality service.

I understand bad days and accidents happen, I'd never complain like this for one mistake, but as someone who has remained a loyal customer despite all this, I hope the managers step up their training or hire more competent people.

Sincerely,
a dedicated cheese curd lover

I sat in the drive thru after ordering for over 20 min, with 6 cars waiting in front of me. I know it is lunch time, but this is ridiculous. There is no expediency of customer service, the young guy who brought out the food seemed angry and it showed in his delivery. This is the worst Culver's I have ever been to.

Food would've been great if I didn't find a piece of blonde hair in my food. Then it took over 30 minutes to get a remake, and the food was still wrong...glad I got refund though, but would've loved my burger instead.
