We had two excellent dining experiences recently at Forks & Flavors. This restaurant has a great decor and ambiance with a small outside patio. We enjoyed the Signature Drink menu and the Korean Wings appetizer was flavorful, nice and crispy. I had the Sea Bass which was cooked perfectly and my wife had Crab Cakes that were done right without a lot of filler. During our meal the owner, Darnell stopped by to ask if everything was ok, introduce himself and explain he recently opened in November 2020. I enjoyed the small neighborhood feel of Forks & Flavors that does not have the overcrowded atmosphere found in so many other area restaurants. Looking forward to returning soon.

We had a work event here, and they didn't disappoint! They provided a wonderful spread for us, including crab cakes (made from fresh crab legs...YUM), pot stickers, pasta, ribs, green beans, mashed potatoes and salad. One of my colleagues got their peach dessert, and it was amazing (part of it tasted liked fried dough). Staff and the owners were incredibly accommodating and super nice! Highly recommend and we will be back!

Can't speak for the dinner/lunch but for brunch, stay away. The food is sub-par at best. For $30 you will get store bought waffles ( the ones you buy at Sam's in the individual packages already cooked), low grade basic breakfast food which will all be cold. To top it off, no drinks are included. For $30 and cheap quality food you would at least expect soft drinks at a minimum. I am all about supporting black owned businesses but they will need to step it up if they plan to stay in business. The brunch is worth closer to $10-$15. Very disappointed.

In response to the blatant lie about me being drunk l had one drink at the bar while waiting on friends! The s*** show started when l asked our server where were our drinks and food. Your new server had not put in the drink order because "her words" she didn't know the name of the tequila!!!! After having told you about my experience in the fine dining industry and offered my services which you were interested in. You couldn't stand the heat of failure to deliver great service! In your frustration you demanded l leave lol no worries l was leaving anyway. I suggest if you want to stay in business get some therapy to help you manage stress. You sir are in need of it. What is also interesting is on all the bad reviews you lie and say the customer was rude!! No knives in the restaurant?? Wow! You are rude and unprofessional seek therapy sir!

I've been gone for a minute but I'm BACK with the motha effin jump off! Me and bae went to @forksandflavors this Saturday and I'm not going to lie..I walked in with an attitude. We went before and were turned away because the hostess told us it was reservation only and I was HIGHLY disappointed. But my spirit told me, "Give them another try. You don't know the whole story" and I'm SO happy I did. The food and serve was TOP TIER!!!!! @forksandflavors is a black owned and couple owned restaurant, they serve dinner every night of the week, brunch on Saturday and Sunday and lunch on Thursdays and Fridays...I think . But not only are the restaurant black owned, SEVERAL of their liquors are from black owned companies as well! Which made me LOVE them even more! Our appetizer was shrimp tempura with Thai chili sauce. The shrimp were fresh out the grease, burned my mouth a little bit but that ain't they fault, I was hungry as hell! The shrimp were so crispy they gave me that crunch that fried food is supposed to give! My entree was the fried Cornish hen and waffles. The waffles were sweet by they damn self, no syrup needed. But I'm greedy so I used my damn syrup. The only thing with the waffle was, after awhile it got a little hard. The hen was seasoned really well and fried well also. This is probably the only place in Atlanta where I've had chicken and waffles and both the chicken and and the waffle were good. Bae had crab stuffed flounder and green beans. Now that s*** was good and I'm getting that the next time we go! The flavors, the food, the service...all were AMAZING! The owners even came to our table and chatted with us. Not trying to make this too long but most definitely give @forksandflavors a try if you're in the Cobb County area. You won't be disappointed! #BlackOwnedBusiness #TheItisATL #TheItis #LetsEat #AtlantaEats #ATLFoodie #EatingAtlanta #EatingForTheInsta #InstaFood #Foodie4Life #FoodBlogEats #ATLFoodBlogger #FeedYourSoul #MetroAtlanta #Atlanta #DiscoverATL #EaterAtlanta #WeLoveATL #GeorgiaEats #Atlanta #BlackFoodie #ThisIsWhyImFat #Yelp #YelpATL #FoodNetwork #NetflixFood #YelpReview #FoodNetworkReview

Fantastic restaurant! A hidden gem in Kennesaw! They made our son's 21st birthday a great experience. The food was flavorful and generous. The ribs were excellent! We had a great server named Mya and both the owners took the time to speak with us. We are fans and will be back!

I finally took the opportunity to visit Forks and Flavors. As soon as I walked in and saw the bar, the furniture and the decor, I know I was in for a treat. The menu is small but by no means limited. The prices are justified by the quality and presentation. The music is great for relaxing. The owners are charming and your can tell they love what they're doing. I'm definitely going back and bringing others. Forks and Flavors is a delightful, delicious choice you will be proud to make.

I was really excited to see a black owned business in the area. We don't have many in the Kennesaw/Northeast Cobb region. The place was very cozy and offered an outside dining option to patrons. They had a DJ that played good music and a respectable volume so you could hear the conversation at your table. We had the Hawaiian Mimosa which was delicious and came in a carafe. I liked the various drink options they had. The experience was $25 buffet which was served to you. You had a lot of options such as bacon, chicken sausage, baked French toast, shrimp, gouda grits...they gave you a lot of food and they stop serving at 1:30p to replenish the food. My only criticism was the owners. I liked how they came to tables and checked on guests and socialized but when the buffet line started to back-up, I felt they should have jumped on and helped the ladies. They only had two servers and the line could have moved faster so people weren't crowding the area waiting for food. They could have easily conversed with patrons in the line. But overall we enjoyed ourselves and will patron again when the weather warms up so we can enjoy the patio.

LISTENNNNNNNNNNN!!!!! OMG!!!! The food! Ambiance! When I say everything was great, I mean EVERYTHING was great!!! When we arrived, we were not aware that they were closed to the public because there were 3 large parties scheduled for the night. We spoke to Brittany and she was able to convince the owners to allow us to have dinner there. Man oh man! I'm so glad he said yes!!! Darnell and David are the owners. You SEE them serving drinks, bringing out the food and checking on everyone as well. Drinks 1. I had a Capricorn Zoditini (kiwi flavored and soooo yummy). 2. Red Hazel (black owned whiskey brand) razzle dazzle. That's what I named it, lol 3. Hennessy on the rocks Appetizers 1. Calamari w/ sweet chili sauce (YUMMYYYYYY) 2. Shrimp tempura w/sweet chili sauce (AHHHMAZING) Entree 1. Founder stuffed with crab meat on steamed green beans. The crab meat and founder was succulent! 2. Lemon and garlic pasta with grilled chicken. Cooked perfected and tasted soooo good! If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I would! This will definitely be on the restaurant rotation.

I was super excited to try Forks & Flavors because I love to see black owned businesses in Cobb County. I have eaten here twice now once for dinner & once for brunch. Let's start with the positives. The owners are so friendly and accommodating we talked with them for at least 20 minutes. During my first visit the owner Darnell served us along with a young lady who was in training. They both had great customer service. Our drinks we were really good and we loved the ambiance. The food in my opinion was lacking in flavor, but I sucked it up and said they are fairly new so I'll try them again for brunch. I came back for Sunday brunch with a group of 6 people. Everyone that had drinks thought the mimosa offerings were pretty impressive, but that's about it. The food once again did not deliver. I was disappointed with the lack of variety on the buffet for $25. For that price point I expect more variety than bacon, sausage, eggs, french toast casserole, shrimp & grits (with 2 pieces of shrimp only) chicken tenders, potatoes and a mini waffle. No vegetarian options or fruit. It was pretty basic and no wow factor at all. Many times there was only 1 person serving on the buffet line causing the line to get really backed up. Our server hopped in to help the guy a few times. Luckily we were able to get served before they ran out of food and had to shut down the buffet. I really want them to do well, but I'm not sure if this model as it stands will be able to sustain them as more people begin to learn about this restaurant. It needs more work in the food area for me before I can return.

Let me start by saying this is a black owned establishment and I'm so glad I went. This was just one of those Sunday mornings that the weather was nice and my boyfriend and I wanted to try something new. We came across Forks & Flavors after a simple Google search of "brunch spots nearby". No reservation was needed and it wasn't super crowded. This place is honestly a gem. The inside has a good vibe and had a nice bar but we decided to sit on the outside patio because the weather was so nice and we weren't sitting close to anyone. There's a dj on the inside that plays nice music and I liked that there is artwork on the walls for sale by different artists. The brunch menu is buffet only but still covid friendly because they have it in a room with 1-2 people serving and only let about 3 people in at a time to get their plate. Overall, our wait in line was about 15/20 minutes which wasn't too bad. I was glad that the buffet line had a wide range of options but I would not suggest trying brunch if you're vegan. My boyfriend and I really enjoyed the food and the prices weren't too bad. The buffet is $25 per person and including mimosas, our bill was around 60 bucks. Definitely will try this place again on a weekday to see what the rest of the menu is like.
