Tasty Bakery Cafe

Picked up a Brazilian bon bon (brigadeiros) here…so yummy! If you’re not familiar, they’re not like regular bonbons they’re made out of condensed milk. The best thing about visiting here was experiencing a new food culture! All of the treats looked fabulous. I didn’t order any menu food. I was kind of disappointed that the staff wasn’t more inviting as I walked in. Otherwise it’s a great set up for a quick bite or a dessert evening. I’ll probably be back to try some of the other menu items.

Today I received SUPER CARE and SWEET treatment!! What I like here: The Brazilian Food Lunch/dinner plate, COXINHA, KIBE, PASTEL, FILET OR FRANGO SANDWICH, AÇAÍ. Great environment and attendees.

Ok, I'm impressed. We walked by this place so many times but today we popped in for wee date with my daughter.

Service: Attentive and while it's a walk up and order system, those taking my order we're engaged, polite, and made me feel like they appreciate my business. They provided recommendations and insight and they were absolutely correct with their suggestions. Great service!

Food: Y'all, this burger. I got the Tasty Max. Spend the extra money, it's worth it. It's a whole breakfast platter on a burger. Bacon, sausage, egg, and even crispy potatoes. Layers of texture and flavor! The fries were hot and crispy.

Dessert: It's a Brazilian bakery, so many fun pastries. My daughter got a cream puff. The thing was massive with dulce de leche style filling and doused in powder sugar. The mini ham croissants were adorable and delicious.

Drinks: Fresh limeade and a decent coffee selection. I had a latte with no extra flavoring and the staff know how to make a decent drink. The limeade was tart and refreshing. I think it's hand squeezed, but I'm not 100% on that.

Pricing: Very reasonable for what we got. Huge burger and fries for about 10 bucks or so. Overall, however, it was well worth it.

This cute bakery is filled with tasty snacks and a small selection of Brazilian goods. This is the perfect spot for a casual lunch or fulfilling an afternoon craving. Like other Brazilian bakeries, cakes are sold by weight, and the customer eyeballs how much they want to be given. They also have plenty of coffee drinks, which is great if you're avoiding sbux but want a satisfying cappuccino. Stop by and try it out!

The staff is incredibly friendly and make you feel welcome without being pushy or overbaring. The food is amazing and fresh. The atmosphere is clean and cozy. Perfect place for an affordable breakfast or lunch.

Walked in an said I was eager to try the cheesecake. Was told it’s $14 a pound then I said great let me get half a pound. They then proceeded to say I don’t know what size that is so tell me what size you want. I was confused. I wanted a pound so I could get it for 14 like they said. After a long hassle to get a pound it then added up to $17.38. Confused again why when you have a scale that shows a pound am I getting charged 3 dollars extra. They had no words and basically just looked at me until I asked them to just give me one slice and I’ll be on my way. I asked what happened to the 14 for a pound they stated that it was more and they were mistaken but another guy said I was 14 for a pound. Please don’t get caught in the last minute price change. Business should know their prices! Decent cheesecake though.

Me and my husband come to this bakery whenever we are in the area and the coffee and desserts are heavenly. I usually get three ferrero rocher cake and it’s perfect for a chocolate lover. The staff is always extremely nice and the prices are fantastic.

The service and freshness have significantly declined, falling well below expectations. This used to be one of the best establishments, but sadly, that is no longer the case. Despite giving it numerous chances, hoping it was just an off day, it's clear that the shift in quality may be due to changes in either the kitchen staff or management.

I have been to this place many times and the cakes are very delicious but this is the first time today 12/18/24 at 8:39 pm the cashier treated me very bad threw my cakes was very rude. She was rushing me to buy. The worst experience today. Hopefully they hire people with more customer service experience because this one tonight is almost making me reconsider to come back after I have come here for 9 years

Didn't get to try the food, my father and i stood by the register with several employees standing there, one woman was behind the register and wouldn't help us, stood there staring out into the ether. Not a single acknowledgement by any employees, glad we didn't waste our money here.
