Thumbs up for the hefe for sure. My husband had the mango feathers IPA and the pineapple habernaro. Not my thing, but he enjoyed them. Nice bartender. Kind of cozy space inside, but maybe that was partly because it was kind of icky outside. It would have been nice to be outside. We had already eaten so we didn't try the food. I think they have a small parking lot, but if you want to go anywhere else in the area, you'll have to get street parking. I imagine that's hard to find on Saturday night. There's also a time limit on that, so just beware.
Great local brewery in historic downtown Kennesaw, regular live music, lively but not overcrowded, 2 stories, outdoor dog friendly, and incredibly good in-house beers. Service is great, very welcoming and helpful, and incredibly polite. Must-visit in the Kennesaw area.
Horned Owl Brewing is an awesome spot with a great atmosphere and even better beer. The staff is super friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable about their brews. The variety of beers on tap is impressive, with something for everyone—from smooth lagers to bold IPAs. The space is clean, comfortable, and perfect for hanging out with friends or just enjoying a pint solo. You can tell they put a lot of pride into what they serve. Definitely a place worth coming back to again and again!
Great place nice atmosphere friendly staff.
A Nice comfortable spot with open patio, tons of beers made by them and live music!
This is our new regular place since the Nest closed. The vibe is awesome, the beer list is great. Owner, super nice guy. Great selection and their mocktails are really the best I've ever had. Highly recommend. Staff is always excellent.
Great place with delicious beer and an awesome staff! The event space is the best for any party.
I like this place. They make some good stuff. Only complaint is the chairs and stools aren't super comfortable but if you're drinking a few, who cares right?
This place was awful. I went on Saturday to pass some time because I had a event to go to it was my first time coming here I wasn’t aware that it was really just a bar I came with my grandkids we were gonna just snack on some stuff I ordered a buffalo boneless chicken plate and some b Buffalo chicken dip the Buffalo boneless chicken was bite-size little pieces of chicken and the buffalo chicken dip didn’t have any chicken in it. It was some cream cheese with buffalo sauce. The food was nasty not only that but I had about $50 in my account. My order came up to 29 and some change and then they automatically charge an additional $20. I called and spoke to the manager. He said that would fall off later on this evening or on Sunday today is Wednesday and that $20 still hasn’t fallen off. There’s no sign that says we’re gonna automatically charge you $20. He said they do it because they were having a lot of people‘s cars not going through but they don’t accept cash. I would never come back to this place
If I was only judging the taste of the beer, this place would get 3 stars, but as the only brewery left in Kennesaw (unfortunately) it deserves some love. Get pizza from nearby Vesuvios and pair it with a pint! Solid beer but nothing that I really love. Overall nice vibe. Unfortunately the flights are really expensive. With 2 flights and tip I paid $45 which is insane. Still recommend you check it out on a nice sunny Saturday

Always a great time ! From music bingo to trivia to live music it’s always a fun vibe ! Great craft beers with a lot of variety !
Came here for trivia night, and that part was fun! The host was great!
Atmosphere is more like a college campus coffee house as opposed to a brewery/pub/nightlife setting. It was very bright and more of a daytime aesthetic. Chairs were all hard-wood, backless barstools, and very uncomfortable. I had to leave early because my spine wasn't taking the seats well, and I'm in pain from sitting on them after 10 minutes. The rest of the evening, I had to stand.
Very clean, though! It's kind of a rustic vibe.
The beer selections seemed enticing, but after trying several, they were all very similar flavor profiles. Hoppy and bitter even in the stouts and Hefs. Having a complete beer profile with IBUs listed would've been great. I'm not sure if that's a metric that can be used for small batch brews, though.
Food was..... about as 'good' as QT or Racetrac but at 2x-3x the price. Typical drunk food fare like pretzels and hotdogs, and whatever can be cooked in a small convection oven and covered in canned cheese. It's great that they let you bring your own food because this isn't the place you go to eat unless you like the above-mentioned school lunch menu.
Probably won't be back but I'm sure it's more for some than others.
Just had my wedding here in their private room, The Parliament. It was an absolute dream of an experience from start to finish, thanks in large part to the event coordinator Victoria. The space was comfortable and my guests raved about how nicely everything turned out
Thank you for making my day so special!
Staff was unaccommodating to honor a gift certificate from a charity event. No effort was made to understand our perspective. Customer service nonexistent. This was not my first time patronizing the business, but this will be my last.
Fun Octoberfest experience
