This was our first time trying this place, and we ordered takeout. Our order included two tossed salads, spaghetti and meatballs, and a pastichio. The order was ready on time, and the staff we interacted with were pleasant — no issues there.

Unfortunately, that’s where the positives ended. The salads, which were $5 each, were simply containers of chopped iceberg lettuce with two cherry tomatoes — no dressing, no extras, nothing remotely close to a tossed salad.

The spaghetti and meatballs were inedible. The sauce had a burnt taste, as if it had been left on the stove too long, and the meatballs were mushy and flavorless. My husband ordered the pastichio, which he’s enjoyed at other restaurants, but he couldn’t eat more than a few bites because it had no flavor at all.

We spent over $50 for a dinner that ended up in the trash — and ended our night with PB&J instead. The most disappointing part was honestly paying $5 per “salad” for what amounted to a handful of lettuce.

Really unfortunate experience all around.

This is one of my favorite Italian restaurants. The remodel they did recently really made it a nice place to go. The food is always excellent, and the service is great.

We dined at Mangiamo’s last Wednesday evening. The Cacio E Pepe was amazing as was the lasagna. Victor and Damaris are the nicest people you would ever want to meet, just good folks! The service was great and the atmosphere is just what you would hope to find in an authentic Italian restaurant. Oh, and the caramel macchiato was the real deal. We will definitely be dining with them again!

This family-owned Italian restaurant is absolutely wonderful. I ordered the cheese tortelloni, and it was outstanding. Their pizzas are always perfect as well. Hailey provided excellent service and made the experience even better!
