Mediterranean Bistro

I don't often dine out, but when I do I choose this fabulous local restaurant. They have a 100 food score. The salads are fresh and delicious. The pita bread is soft and warm. If it's not busy, the proprietor will come and chat with you like you are family! Eat here if you are a fan of fresh Mediterranean dishes, you will not be disappointed.

Tried to come when they opened the Saturday after Thanksgiving to place a large order to go order for 6 people. They had a sign on the door listing holiday hours that don’t mention anything about Saturday. Door was locked and I guy inside came out and said they wouldn’t open for an hour, when we said the sign says they open at 11 he was very rude and said it was a holiday and they decided to open later. Honestly I would have been fine and not left this review if the guy had been nice about it. He acted as though we should have known they decided to open later when there was no signage. He seemed mad that we tried to come at the time listed as their opening time and provide them customers.

I went to three gyro restaurants on the same day on the same street and ordered a Gyro sandwich and this place was the best. They are all within a mile of each other. Choose this one. The size of the food, the amount of meat, and the portion the feta cheese and the sauce was by far the best tasting of the three.

Phenomenal gyro

Their hummus is absolutely amazing, it has a very deep rich flavor! The gyro cheese steak is delicious! 😋

I have been meaning to write this review since May 25th! After I went to the rein fair I came here with my boyfriend to get some food. I’m vegan so I wasn’t sure what to get. Adwin was absolutely AMAZING and said they’re (I don’t like to assume pronouns so I’ll say they) also vegan and took the time to help me come up with something that I could enjoy and feel comfortable eating. Adwin spent a while helping me out and cooked up the most delicious food for me and once they were finished they even brought it out to me while i was sitting outside. I asked Adwin their name and said I’d write a review. I wrote their name in my phone and have thought about the interaction often but kept forgetting to actually write the review. Well here I am now writing it almost 5 months later !! I really hope Adwin sees it and that they are so appreciated. It’s really hard getting food out as a vegan and most people make my food wrong, don’t know what a vegan is, and aren’t very patient about it. Adwin was absolutely amazing and deserves the world. Adwin, if I’m spelling your name wrong I’m sorry! I truly wish you the best in life!! Thank you for being so amazing!! As someone who works food service, you’re the type of person I try to be. I’m sorry this review is so late. Whoever responds/reads this, please make sure they see this and please treat Adwin well! Food is excellent. It's counter service ordering so there is that, and atmosphere is kind of plain but colorful and super clean. Will definitely be going back for the grape leaves, hummus, and kababs.
