My friend & I would frequent them regularly & always on Friday evening but if you don’t get there before 7 be prepared to be rudely rushed. The last time we went it was after 7 & instead of being able to relax & enjoy oysters before ordering dinner the rude owner lady rushed us & said kitchen was closing. Before we could finish our meal she vacuumed passed us twice looking at us while doing so & we are good customers. Their food is good their prices are good but customer service sucks. They won’t answer the phones & You never know if they’re open before you drive there. That last visit was the last straw but Thankfully I read that their are New owners. Hope the food & prices will remain good.

The only problem I have!! Is that they are closed
Other than that me and my husband love this place. Staff is very friendly and we love their food.

Went there to eat dinner for my Mom’s 90th birthday today and they have a sign on door closed for renovations. Please note that on your website. Got there about 5:30pm today Wednesday October 23, 2024 driving from Woodstock, GA. She was disappointed. Enjoys eating there.
When are you planning to be open again?

We love the food and try to go there every time we're in town. We used to eat there when they were called Oyster King in Acworth. The waiter can be friendly and she can be mean. It's just like their hours, you never know what it's going to be that day. I've seen then send away customers more than an hour before their posted closing time. I love most of their food, and I'll go there as long as they're in business even if she's mean ? I gave 4 stars because you never know when they're going to close each day. Oh, the tarter sauce is yummy, but it really did have to grow on me for a long time.

We use to go to this family owned restaurant when it was oyster king before it burned down and they moved to this location under the name oyster cafe. Still owned by the family and still quality food. They stopped putting cayenne pepper in their batter and it was so good. You can still get it that way but now you have a choice. Shrimp are still huge and taste fresh and delicious. Server was very attentive and helpful. I highly recommend this place
