My bartender Dan had excellent service! He was very attentive was extremely knowledgeable about each menu item. Melody was my server and her energy is immaculate! She was also extremely knowledgeable about the chef’s specials and the ingredients in each dish. My friend had a gluten allergy and she worked hard on making us feel comfortable. Thank you to these two individuals, they made my experience at Ruth’s Chris amazing!

After giving them a 5 star last year, I can only give then a 3 this time. I took my wife there for her birthday. It was not the experience I expected from last year. While the steak was awesome the sides were disappointing. Creamed spinach lacked flavor, and was missing seasoning. The onion rings were great. The lyonnais potatoes were not properly prepared, as the onions were all on the bottom and not mixed with the potatoes, which were dry and slightly over cooked (they shouldn't crunch) . My wife ordered her steak Oscar, and the sauce was broken. Asparagus still had the woody ends attached, which really wasn't appealing. The bread was almost burnt on the bottom. One of the dirty martinis wasn't dirty. They had replaced the lighting in one room to a really harsh Brite light vs. the nice soft white lighting in the adjoining room, which really destroyed the romantic atmosphere. For a Friday night, the restaurant was surprisingly empty. At one time, there were only 8 tables occupied during the prime dinner hours. Our waiter seemed really nervous and was also not very attentive as he would disappear or a couple of times made a round trip thru the dining area without checking on us. He definitely needed more training on professionalism.I hope they figure out what a high-end restaurant should be. I've had better at Longhorns in Cartersville.

Had my birthday dinner here Mar 1 2024. Usually go here a couple of times a year to celebrate. Restaurant is in renovation and smells funny not in a good way. My filet was perfectly cooked. But the creamed spinach was bland and the bernaise sauce was broken. New owners have ruined this chain. Service was lax and far too casual for formal celebrations. Will not bother going back. Too bad. Years of excellent food and service lost.

Alfredo was our server. He did an outstanding job. We did have to mention our dessert five times, however. Not sure why but perhaps he was had a lot going on. The food was delicious. We have hesitated going for years since we detest chain restaurants. This was for my husband's business trip and staying at the Embassy Suite that we decided to come due to convenience. Everything was formal and the ambience was great, minus the child in the other dining room. Truly I think the establishment needs to have a minimum age in place to not derail from the experience. Otherwise, the food was a 10/10!

The portions of sides have definitely gotten smaller, you use to be able to share a side but not anymore unless you get the lobster Mac n cheese! We went as a group for Valentine’s Day and had a late evening dinner; our waiter was fantastic, my chicken wasn’t hot inside like it usually is, the salmon definitely needs something with it, it was just a plain piece of salmon on a plate, no garnish which was odd; I asked for extra of the chicken cream stuffing and didn’t get it & someone kept coming into the room looking at us so I guess that was our cue that we needed to leave as soon as we took our last bite; I don’t recommend having a late dinner here. Everyone else really enjoyed their food.

First time dining. I have heard for years about Ruth's Chris Steak House. Firstly this was a 50th birthday party for 10. I was surprised to discover this location was located inside an Embassy Suites hotel and the entrance was a side door to the property. It was very difficult maneuvering the crowded lot of tourists jockeying for the best position to unload their luggage.Upon entering and finding our way to the host/ hostess stand a very nice young lady greeted us. We said we like to be seated however she said we could not be until 80% of our party arrived. I was a little confused as to why we could not be seated until 80% of our party arrived. We had a reservation so this to me made no sense, luckily 90% of us were present, she then graciously showed us to table set in the main corridor off the kitchen door. I found this unacceptable. When I expressed this she generously showed us to the bar while a suitable area was prepared. While at the bar the service and drinks were good. After a period of time a different woman very angrily told us our table was ready and showed us to a private room. This was a very nice room.Once there our server came in and did a good job of taking care of us. The appetizers were good but the entrees were a train wreck. He and the other servers did not know which meal went to which guest. Steak temperatures were mostly wrong, mine was inedible, and one of my guests didn't get a meal at all. Soooo the prices charged versus food and quality of food in my opinion are vastly at different ends of the scale. To pay upwards of 59.00 per entree and then be asked to slice your steak to see if it is correct....wow. We tried to make light of it for my sisters sake, it was her 50th birthday, so bad.The check came I signed and added a gratuity but then was told by the server he already added. I asked RUTH'S CHRIS to void and bring another but was told they could not do that. That can't possibly be true. I own retail stores and easily have the ability to correct this type of a mistake. All I can say is Ruth must be turning in her grave. This was a mediocre Long Horn Steak experience ertainly not what it is billed to be. Also no interaction with the manager on duty it seemed she dumped it all onto the poor server.I just researched the parent company and discovered it is Darden. Olive garden and Long Horn steaks! Now I understand....

We celebrated valentines last night at this location and I was very impressed, steak is my love language, and we recently had an excellent steak at a different restaurant (Cherokee Chophouse) and I will say this steak was just as good, if not a bit better. We both ordered a NY Strip, and they were each cooked exactly as we like (medium and medium well). The only item we ordered that I was not a fan of was the brussel sprouts, they were a bit bitter but may be to some peoples liking. In regard to customer service everyone was fantastic, we had 7:30 reservations and expected to wait when we arrived 10 minutes early on a busy dining out night, but we were greeted with a smile and seated right away. Our waiter, unfortunately, I cannot recall his name was fantastic and made sure we were taken care of constantly (but to an annoying degree). We ordered a bottle of wine and he made sure to come over and keep our wine full, I don't think I touched the bottle once and my cup was never empty. Well worth the price in my opinion, we will be back.Oh, and order the cheesecake its huge and so good.Dietary restrictions: I have a shellfish allergy so we were not able to order appetizers as there seemed to be only 1 option that did not include shellfish, that was disappointing but did not ruin the evening.
