If you read the article about best tacos from Yelp… NO, these are mediocre at best. Birria El Gordo or Little Rey are FAR better depending on what you crave. Mediocre Mexican food. Disappointing.

This was my first time dining in since they moved locations, though we have gotten take-out several times before. The Mexican tacos range from delicious (birria) to not great (chicharrones had zero crisp or flavor and looked boiled), with most being pretty solid. The barbacoa is very tender, carne asada is good, but carnitas also lacked flavor. The prices have gone up a bit, but still affordable, especially for the tacos.
They also have margaritas now!!! I saw a recent review that said they just wish they had margaritas, and it is easy to miss the fact that they do since they are not mentioned online, not on the menu or visible in the pics. They have one-size house margarita only, and it is $8.
We got 8 Mexican tacos, 2 margaritas, and chips and salsa for $48. So it is pretty cheap if you stick to tacos only, but not as cheap as many taco Tuesday spots that feature deals with cheaper margaritas and free chips and salsa. Some tacos are much better than others, so stick with those and you will be happy. It’s also much cuter inside than you’d expect from the outside.
Kid-friendliness: There were lots of kids running around, very kid-friendly spot.
Tried at the fair and Spent $20 on 4 tacos. 3 azada 1 chicken All of the meat was awful, unseasoned, seemed as if it was steamed. The homemade corn tortillas is the only thing that tasted good. Advertised as best tacos in ga when they put in 0 effort and were just trying to make money.

Wow another great little eatery in Kennesaw. Had two Mexican tacos, one with pollo and the other pastor, all for approximately $8. The meat was delicious, the corn tortillas tender and simply dressed with onions and cilantro. I added queso fresco. Be aware the menu is simple. Just wish they had margaritas ?.

Tacos Del Chavo probably has the best tacos in the country...and I mean that. I don't know why God would make Kennesaw GA of all places a taco destination; but here we are.
I've been eating lunch here nearly every week for six years. My order is 3 Campechanas on corn tortillas with a fried jalapeno. What are these Campechanas I speak of? Tacos with steak pastor, chorizo, melted Oaxacan cheese, cilantro and diced onions. Drench them in one of their house red or green sauces (or both... definitely both), and they... are...ridiculously good...every time! Taco perfection. Get the corn tortillas, they make them fresh and they're the best I've eaten.
Great staff, very friendly. Laid back atmosphere, plenty of seating with a nice bar and multiple TVs playing live sports.
