I am shocked it took me so long to try this place- it's a bit of a while in the wall vibe but the pizza is delicious! A true Italian style Pizzeria. These guys should be packed everyday and night Prices are better than Antico. My only suggestion is for them to add a mushroom/ truffle white pizza. Yum!

Excellent dinner, everything we ordered was delicious, fresh and tasty. We tried the burrata bruschetta, buffalo mozzarella with prosciutto, capricioasa pizza, my son made a pizza with sweet salami, sausage and pepperoni, and our daughter got a cheese pizza! The wine was great, light and refreshing! Highly recommend. We’ll be back when coming back to visit our kids.

Updating my review from a few weeks ago, where I was disappointed in the two pies I ordered. Lindsay, the owner, reached out and invited me to come back in, so I gave Vesuvio another chance tonight. I am happy to say my experience was very different. This time I ordered three pies - the Quattro Formaggi, the Pompeii, and the Tartufata. All three were very, very good - good crust, pizzas looked better, and had great flavor/seasoning. Lindsay, thank you for making this right, and we will definitely be back.

Real authentic pizza. The store was empty when I came in. I ordered at the front, and the man was shouting the order from the reception area back to the kitchen in Italian. Y'ardy know it's gonna be good. There is a giant fire brick oven. It's a charming little building and there's seating outside. They have different oils on the table that you can dip your pizza crust into. To add onto that, the ingredients are raw and natural. Instead of feeling bloated, tired and nauseous after eating, you feel light, energetic and satisfied.

We have visited many times for both dine in and take out and not only is Vesuvio better than any other thin crust, wood-fired pizza in Atlanta, the hospitality - especially from the owner himself - is above and beyond.
Food was DELICIOUS. Came with a big group and the kitchen staff brought us a complimentary dessert pizza. Staff was understanding of my allergies.

For a small place, the food is delicious. We went here in honor of my father-in-law who passed away a couple of years ago. He loved good Pizza, and Vesuvio’s was one of his fav’s!
