My husband and I ordered via app. My husband picked up the food. First off he noticed no hair nets on the people preparing the food. We asked for our chicken fingers to be tossed in teriyaki sauce and they were plain. When asked to correct it, the cooks seemed annoyed. Secondly, I ordered my boneless wings in whimsy sauce and was given a sweet sauce. Im guessing they were tossed in the sweet Asian sauce? Definitely NOT whimpy buffalo sauce. Food was not fresh and boneless wings and chicken tenders were over cooked and super crispy. VERY DISAPPOINTING. Fries and bread were cold. Only thing I can say was good was the sprite. I do not recommend this Zaxbys. Customer service was horrible. They did not seem to care what yhe actual order was and just slapped what ever was quickest together despite it was not what we had ordered. Sucks bc my husband loves Zaxbys. Can't say we will revisit bc this was a horrible experience.

I went to this location last night around 9:45pm, I havent ate since like 1pm and was starving. When I arrive I kindly told the girl at the window “I know yall about to close, I felt bad even coming but I’m hungry & you guys were tight here” she said “it’s fine”. I ordered two nibblers, once I received it I notice it was cold, the bun and chicken so I reversed. Another girl was at the window, I asked her could they remake it & I wasn’t sure why it’s not fresh. She said “hold on” then has a man come to the window @10pm saying the kitchen manager said the chemicals are on the grill & it’s closed. So immediately I get frustrated cos I’m like why would you make me wait to pull this stunt. So I ask to speak with a manager and they bring out this older man, and I express my concerns. I even mentioned how I told the girl in the beginning I felt bad even coming and he had the nerve to say “WELL WHY DID YOU COME” I was very thrown off and hurt by that comment it brought tears to my eyes cos I’m hungry and they people playing in face. He said why didn’t you go to McDonald’s or Waffle House etc. DO NOT COME HERE!!!! I can’t stand places that close early and treat customers wrong just so they can leave early!

Love this location ! Tem T Assistant manager is always on the floor, taking orders, checking on customers, and going the extra mile with a smile on his face! Employees seem to care about their customers and that speaks volumes!

Today 5/26/2025 I stopped by Zaxby’s to pick up a meal, I started eating the chicken and looked at it, and it was LIME GREEN!!!!!!!! I took the meal back to the store and talk with the manager, and they had a nonchalant attitude. Did not apologize nor explain to me what was in the chicken. I'm amazed at how this Zaxby's separates itself from many of the other locations. I ordered my usual Zensation Salad and it was very, very good. All of the toppings were portioned correctly. The grilled chicken was chopped into small pieces and mixed in well so that you have chicken as well as the other ingredients in every bite. The coleslaw was a bit creamy, unlike the dry cabbage you get at other locations. When someone takes the time to prepare a salad this way, it makes all the difference in the world. Staff was friendly and the restaurant clean. They have a 100 on the health score, which isn't all that common with fast food restaurants. Even the background music (which was Christian Rock) beats some of the loud, obnoxious stuff you hear at other places. Two thumbs up!!!

Every company that uses fried food puts paper down to avoid this situation. Every time I’ve eaten here, the food burns through the styrofoam. How is this safe to eat? You need to employ better food safety practices.

Not ever coming here again. I spend $30 I bought-Wings and things meal/A traditional meal/and two nibblers. I ordered a large meal for wings and things. The fires aren’t even the equivalent to a small fry. All of the wings are old and cold. The tenders and very small. The nibblers are cold and have no sauce. I wish i was exaggerating. When i got to the window the girl said what can i get you in an annoyed voice and when i said i had a mobile order she said “cool” should have known then..

I always come to this Zaxby’s but I probably won’t after tonight. I live 15 minutes away and came to order a large order for my family. I got home and realized my white cheddar bites weren’t in the bag. Drove 15 minutes back to this Zaxby’s (now a half hour since I placed my order and didn’t even eat my own meal yet) and when asked for the white cheddar bites, I received them quickly… only to find that there were about 10 small pieces with at least half of them burnt. I’m highly frustrated by this experience and probably won’t be going back to this location. I don’t ever post negative reviews… Do better!!

MAYDAY, MAYDAY SALTY CHICKEN!!
CALLED MY BANK& GOT MY MONEY BACK

I came by on 26th of Nov to order a 4 piece chicken strip dinner that I wanted to save for the next day for lunch, because I knew I would be cooking all day on the 27th for Thanksgiving dinner. When it came time to eat it, the chicken was extremely salty and I was not able to finish after a couple of bites.

I tried calling the store to speak with a manager and no one would pick up the phone. I tried calling other surrounding Zaxby's stores and- not surprisingly -they were able to pick up. So- not sure why the store that I bought the chicken from allowed the phone to ring almost 9x with no answer.

This then- frustratingly made me drive almost 18 miles to the store to bring the food back only to be met by a guy named Tim who said he was the manager -stated he was not able to refund me back my food bcas I left my receipt at home- although I paid with a credit card - he also said he was not there the day I bought it- LOL. As if he needed to be there to handle ONLY situations on days he works on and not able to make managerial decisions on situations that occur outside his workday. I guess he thought it was best that I contact the manager that worked on the 26th of Nov and kind of coordinate a day& meeting time to bring back the food that was good for that manager rather than what was best for me-the customer in that moment.
Tim, ( whom I don't know how he got his job & title) could not have made my experience even worse! He was not able to fix, refund, improve or change my experience for the better which is what a manager does if he understood what to do.

Zaxby's according to corporate is able to look up the day and time you bought your food also using the last four of the card number if no receipt is present and Tim refused to do his job by stating "we don't do that here." Well they did so the last time I had an issue a few years ago and it was over the phone. Tim is either unfamiliar with his job in helping me get my money back/offering to at least replacing the meal....or he just didn't give a shit. I think it's both.
He also said he wasn't allowed to give out the name of the regional manager, which is untrue because its public knowledge if I wanted to look it up

I do know that the regional manager has multiple stores under him and the point of me asking is that not only will I not come back to this location but any of the other locations that the regional manager resides over due to the fact that if he/she is able to hire a manager like Tim who can treat a customer like me and handle a non-complicated situation by making it complicated then just imagine how the other stores are managed/trained. I've already lost 2 brain cells that I can't get back by talking to Mr. Tim, smh.

I called my bank that night and filed a claim then called the corporate office to file a complaint. With the issues that I've had at the store prior and just recently I will never ever come back to their salty ass chicken spot again.
