The food was so over cooked it tasted like boiled shoe leather.
There was no sauce and everything was so dry.
We couldn’t tell the difference between the pork and the brisket they were both like twine and un swallowable.
The positives : the beans were really good, and the baked potatoes were good.

It’s way way way way way too sweet. The beans are sweeter than the sweetest drink at Starbucks. The cucumbers are so sweet. I could only eat a few bites of each. The bbq on the ribs and brisket all sweet. I can barely eat it and it’s left me with an upset stomach from the sugar. Anyway, it tastes alright enough, but it would be better half sweet if not even more than that. Sugar isn’t a seasoning just so you know.

Live oak firewood doesn't belong in a meat smoker. However they gained one extra star for the most amazing potato salad in this entire region of the state. Seriously stop in for that even if it's all u order

We were traveling and stopped because it showed good reviews I asked the girl at the window if the ribs brought fall off the bone they were tough even the brisket sandwich the meat was tough very disappointed the potato salad and cucumbers and onions was delicious

Fantastic food and great flavors! I absolutely loved the coleslaw and the baked beans, both were spot on. The ribs were tender and the BBQ sauce was the perfect finishing touch. The staff is very friendly and kind, and my order came out quickly. You can even call ahead to place an order for pickup, which makes it super convenient. Definitely worth trying!

First and last time ordering the Brisket Sandwich. What kind of BBQ place serves pulled brisket? It was tough and drowning in sauce. Should have sent it back and gotten the pork instead. Brisket should only be sliced or chopped.
I haven't tried all their BBQ but they don't have sliced brisket and the pulled was very tough meat. To chewy to even finish eating it .

I don’t say this lightly- Malson’s is the best bbq I’ve ever had. My family has been going here for years and I’ll forever keep going. We always get the pulled pork over rice or in the loaded baked potato. The beans and potato salad taste like heaven.
The workers are always so nice too and they give generous portion sizes.

Got the loaded potato with chicken and the 1/2 chicken meal with 2 sides. Loaded potato was ok. It was baked with no salt on the skin. The loaded chicken included shredded chicken, sauce, cheddar cheese, and a packet of sour cream. I thought since it was loaded it would include baked beans, it did not. The half chicken was dry and under seasoned, it left much to the imagination.

Been coming here for years whenever I drive through this area. Stumbled upon it by accident and I'm sure glad I did. Great taste, portioning, prices, service and fast service. One thing I learned about good BBQ years ago is go where the locals go and that surely is Malsons. Can't wait to visit again.

Working in Kingsland Ga., and of course had to try some BBQ. First time trying Georgia BBQ and it’s very good. I had the brisket plate. They provided a large portion. The brisket had good smoke, the beans were sweet and the coleslaw had a nice tangy kick. The sauce is a vinegar base and good. Recommend if in the area.
