Food was amazing. Greens so good they don't need any pepper sauce, but then the pepper sauce is fantastic! Green beans, mac n cheese, black eyed peas, all of was so good. Portions were huge! Only thing missing? Recliner for a nap afterwards. We will be back.

I ordered a pan of chicken & dressing with gravy & cranberry sauce for our family Thanksgiving dinner tonight. It was still hot when I picked it up. It was so good! Thank you so much, Clara’s, for making Thanksgiving delicious! Luv u ladies!

I was there last Friday when they had chicken and dressing, white beans, sweet potato, and baked potatoes. They told me the sweet potatoes was dumplings and that is not dumplings. It was nasty. Please get the orders right because y’all have it on your menu separate that’s not dumpling I’m disappointed. and it took forever to get me a fresh drink. i’ll still go back, but if it keeps getting like this, I won’t.

I was unable to find an updated menu or a list of specials online, and their Facebook page said to message them about it, likely because they have different specials daily. So that's what I did & She was so quick and attentive! I appreciate y'all very much & have eaten there since back in the day, & I'm extremely glad to see them still in business & doing what they do best!!!

We were in town for a memorial service for a family member and stopped in for lunch. It was delicious! Everything was the right temperature, seasoned well and the service was excellent. We both ate for less than $25 total.

Went with the family to eat today and very disappointed. McDonald’s would had been better. Sit down and wait forever for someone to take order.i finally asked a girl not doing anything g and she said I can’t. We order our food and get the fish and one side.The Mac and cheese was cold. Got our second side which was fries after we completed our meal. I ask to speak to management. I was told she was cooking and would come out. She never did. We sat there with nothing to drink. If the owner cannot address a customers problem then they are not management material. We will not be back.

We come here a lot after church on Sundays the chicken tenders and salad bar is always really good! When we were paying on Sunday I noticed they had a board up with people that have prepaid meals for someone that is hungry and doesn’t have any money. This was the first time I had ever seen that. I think that’s super great that they do that! 10/10

The other person who wrote about this place was accurate about “giving a menu and not being attentive” -unless they know you. (Or unless they didn’t feel like serving you for whatever odd conspicuous reason) My husband and I were picking up a motor and wanted to drop in for a meal. I found this place because we love a good hometown comfort restaurant. This was my fault for choosing this place. Reserved a table online- walked in- was told to sit anywhere. The place was filled with people- you could hear the “pleasant servers”- so we were excited- until we realized we were not received a lick of pleasantry. We noticed the restaurant got emptied out- everyone was gone except for us and we looked around. Lord, I just know others would speak up, but we were giving it the benefit of the doubt. Still waiting and15 mins later- the server says OH WE FORGOT TO PUT IN YOUR ORDER. People came in after us and got served within minutes- NOT KIDDING- and they continued to check on them. We never got one check in after we finally got our meals. Left immediately. Ya get what ya get in Lafayette 🤣 - makes perfect sense. Don’t be fooled, they don’t have pizza with their BIG PIZZA SIGN. Go to RINGGOLD!

Everything here was great. I loved the service and the food. The other two coworkers that were with me had the same experience. We were working in the area and were looking for more of a home cooked meal than the normal chains. This place was it and if I lived near here I would eat here way too much! I hope to be able to come back someday.
