I’m from Michigan and I work in LaFayette 3-4 times a year and I always look forward to eating at The Crushed Tomato. Best pizza anywhere and the people are so friendly. My only disappointment is that they’re not open on Mondays.
Great people there the wait staff are knowledgeable on the menu and food . And the kitchen staff fast and efficient getting food out. We got the 18in Buffalo Bill best pizza I have ever had cooked to perfection. I highly recommend give these folks a try .You won't be disappointed.

This is one of those little known great gems! It's a locally owned establishment that serves great food - especially the pizza - has an awesome atmosphere and a wonderful staff! The building itself lends to the awesomeness of it all because it's a renovated place dating back to the late 1800's with lots of original items left alone - walls, lift, ladders, etc. Very reasonably priced too, considering today's high cost in your average restaurants.
