“The food was very good! The service was good and the servers were very nice. The menu is nothing like online, though. It is 2 pages, front only on clip boards. One page is dinner meals, and one page is lunch meals. There are set sides for all meals. The dinner meals get mashed potatoes and mixed veggies (broccoli, squash, and zucchini) and a salad. The lunches sides are fries and slaw.“

The atmosphere is simple. They (rightfully so) concentrate on one thing - good food. And in that, they have succeeded.“

They have very tasty homemade chips. Those were a nice surprise. I also got the club sandwich & beet salad & was not disappointed. Would def recommend.“

“Old cafeteria style and Oh My WORD! The food is Fantastic! athe staff is super friendly too. If you want a good country meal with tons of flavor, you have got to try Shirleys. I have eaten a lot of Mac n cheese in my life and have never had any better than this. So creamy and delicious. The fried chicken is just like I remember as a child, so crispy. Black eyed peas were seasoned to perfection. Then to Top it off, homemade banana pudding that would make your tongue want to lap your brain out, it was so good. I HIGHLY recommend!! You will not be disappointed! 😋❤️“

“We visited on a Tuesday night without a reservation. I didn’t realize it was a smaller restaurant, so definitely get one before you go. As far as food, you won’t leave hungry; matter of fact, you’ll leave with at least one more big meal in a to go box! Plenty of food and absolutely delicious! I loved the flavor, definitely a 5 out of 5 in this regard. So many unique dishes as well. I had the skilletini and mt wife had the papagalo. I would have never imagined jalepeno would be so amazing in a pasta dish!!!! Without a doubt, we WILL be back!“

“Went to cook out at 10:30 tonight and the food was hot, fresh, and delicious and all for a great price. I got a burger tray with cheese bites and a chicken quesadilla. Everything tasted great and all of that for only $7.48. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Will definitely be going back.“

“The people here are really friendly. The food is good, they arent free from mistakes but theyre willing to fix their errors, just let them know. Honestly my favorite spot to go to in the area, much better than mcdonalds or arbys or wendys which are nearby. Jukebox! It gets a bit busy when theres events in town, but its good vibes here.“
