“This is consistently one of my go to locations for food in general each week. I come from a location where Mexican food is highly competitive, but the quality of this place ranks at the top of all that I’ve tried. The food is fresh and consistently great. The portions are always very generous and each and everything on the menu is wonderful. The folks that work here are extremely nice and courteous, and always answer the phone in a timely manner when ordering carry out. Truly, one of my favorite places to eat!“

“As you can imagine, I was in the mood for trying a new restaurant and stumbled across Manny’s via my Yelp Search. Manny sits in a neighborhood so there is street parking as well as they offer a few parking spaces in the back of the restaurant. When you walk up, you are pulled in by the intimacy of the “neighborhood bar” feel you can see through the all glass front. The location is huge and offers a main and sun main entrance door. Entering through the main entrance, you get to experience a full snapshot of the vibe. With tables in the front and the bar towards the back right, you are instantly caught up in the energy that radiates from the patrons. We decided to sit in the small area near the sub main entrance as it offered a more eat and unwind tone. As you seat yourself, it was a few minutes before the waitress arrived at our table. Once she arrived she greeted the table and welcomed us to Manny’s. She immediately took our drink orders and advised she would return shortly. As we awaited her return, I looked around the room to see if there were any menus and there were not. When the waitress arrived with our drinks she inquired if we were ready to order… Me: “Can you provide us with the menu as we may take a look?” Waitress: “It’s a QR Code!” Me: “Can we get the QR Code?” Upon me asking for the QR code she realized we didn’t have one in our table. She proceeded to one of the back tables and returned with the QR Code. I decided on the Candy Andy burger with a Side Caesar Salad. My meal was an absolute delight. The lettuce was fresh. The Caesar dressing was very tasty and super creamy. I wouldn’t be surprised if I found out it was homemade as it was truly a flavor-rific experience. LoL!! The Burger was soooooooo good. With a “Smash Burger” base, the Candy Andy is a perfect play of Sweet and Salty. The well seasoned, perfectly done, super moist burger pairs perfectly with the caramelized onions that sit on top of it and becomes engaged to the candied bacon that tops the burger. Oh my goodness! I don’t know what foodie ninja came up with this killer mix of burger joy, however, they did an amazing job. This burger is an absolute 10 out of 10 for me and is so good that I will be back to indulge in one again soon. If you find yourself in the area and desire a neighborhood gem with a nice vibe and great food, make sure to stop by Manny’s and enjoy the experience. P. S. “The fries were delicious. However I do not like burnt hotdogs. They were hard, flavorless and disgusting. Too many onions cut in the chilli, but the heat was good. It will be a looooong time before I try this place again. Service was nice“

“Cook Out is one of my favorite go-tos whenever I'm traveling in the southeast. The burgers are so delicious cooked over real charcoal! It definitely tastes just like eating food at a neighborhood backyard cookout! The chicken fingers and quesadillas are on point as well. The best thing of all is how cheap the prices are... I wish other restaurants were this cheap to eat at!! My only wish is that the franchise eventually moves north to Indiana!! 🤩“

“Okay! Let me give you the rundown on Freddy’s… I have been wanting to go for the longest time and never had the chance to just stop in and make it happen, until the other day. I was in the mood for a hood burger and decided to stop in. I love that this location is directly off the main strip which provides for an easy in/out process. Upon walking in, the location is super vibrant and has a classic design aesthetic. The red and white theme adds a ‘diner’ feel to the ambiance, even though it’s super modern. The location was very clean and there was ample seating. Of course I chose a booth. LoL. As I walked up to the menu everything looked amazing. OhEmGeeeeee! I mean picture after picture of burgergoodness and ice cream favorites. I was torn. As I got to the register, the young lady Victoria had to help me make a decision. LoL! She was very nice and really engaging. With her help I decided on the Patty Melt Meal and swapped out the fries for onion rings. After placing my order, I got my cup, headed to get my fountain drink and took a seat to wait for my number to be called. Minutes later my order was up and I was ready to partake! Babeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!! When I tell you this food was the BOMB!!!!! I’m talking atomic bomb. I’m talking bomb dot com. I’m talking Kaboom bomb. LoL! But in all seriousness, the food was amazing. The onion rings weren’t overly battered. They were fried to golden perfection. The onion inside was thick and cooked to tender perfection. The crunchiness of the rings were superb and they weren’t too greasy. Whoever made these truly understand the fine crafting of a perfect onion ring. The patty melt (I added bacon) was the show stopper. Perfectly made beef seasoned well. The carmelized onions were done the right way. The level of caramelization was that of a 5-Star restaurant. Wow! The bread was perfectly toasted and the cheese was gooey and melted. Mannnnnnnn, this burger was superb. In fact, so superb I saved half of it for later. When later came, I opened the wrapper up and went back to enjoying Freddy’s Perfectly Crafted Patty Melt. I’ll be back for sure. If you’re in the area and want something Good to eat… stop in and get you some Freddy’s!“
