“Good bbq and stew. I would have preferred the stew in a bowl in not on the plate but the flavor was good. I also prefer chunky stew and this was more of a smooth stew but again the flavor was fine. The bbq was moist with a vinegar based sauce. The ribs were cooked just right and had a sticky coating on sauce. Onion rings were also large and served hot. Overall the food, service and atmosphere was very good.“

“my friend and i got two large bbq sandwiches, two sides of coleslaw, and a side of potato salad for like $16. the service was super quick, they accept cards, and the food was excellent. i got my sandwich hot and it delivered. i definitely recommend getting a side of coleslaw with it to taper down the heat. the sandwich has a really good smokey flavor and isn’t dry. the cole slaw has a good vinegar base and was very refreshing. 10/10 recommend. also you might go past it cause it kinda looks run down and you could miss it driving past, but i like the charm it has. my friend who got potato salad is picky about it and said the one she got here was really good.“

“Wow! Come on over to Lavonia. Exceptional food. Smoked pork. Beef. Chicken. Brisket. Brisket was so so good. And wait till you have their Brunswick Stew and cornbread. Worth a drive to get there. Such a cool place!!!!!“
