This is real homemade BBQ. The potato salad was phenomenal, as was the mac & cheese! Was that smoked pepper jack? I don't live close by, but I definitely would plan a 2 hour drive just to eat here again.Kid-friendliness: They serve beer, but it's in a bottle, and they have 3 chairs at a bar top. The majority of the restaurant is designed for family dinning.
Stopped here on a whim while traveling and so glad we did. Absolutely amazing food and friendly staff. The ribs, mac-n-cheese, and potato salad are among the top best we've ever had. Nothing like this close to home. You cannot go wrong with anything at this place.

Wow! Come on over to Lavonia. Exceptional food. Smoked pork. Beef. Chicken. Brisket. Brisket was so so good. And wait till you have their Brunswick Stew and cornbread. Worth a drive to get there. Such a cool place!!!!!
