The food was amazing. It was my son's first time getting food from here because I can't ever convince him to eat out since he is so used to my food. He is willing to go a day or 2 without me cooking for here!

This was my first time eating there, I took my mother there because we were looking for a good soul food restaurant. Overall I give them at 8 out of 10 the fish was okay but it was really overcooked I also had yams and greens they were okay the greens could have used some type of seasoning. The staff was nice but the establishment looked old and run down on the inside. The mac and cheese was good portion sizes.

Been working in this area a few years and wish I found this place sooner! It's pretty hard to find vegan and gluten free food in the area, but the vegetable plate ($13.99) is exactly what I've been looking for. The vegetables were really good. I opted not to get the cornbread that comes with it, so I can't speak to its taste or gluten free-ness. I love that they are not cooked with meat. Thank you!
This is definitely more of a takeout place, but good service is not lacking. The woman who took care of me was kind and helpful. The atmosphere was just fine. There are tables inside if you'd prefer to dine in, and parking was available in the lot outside.
I look forward to coming back!

I really hate to leave this mid review, but I am going to be honest in hopes that the owner reads and make improvements as they see fit. To be fair, I've only ordered through food delivery so I can't speak to the hospitality and atmosphere that would compensate for the poor taste (in my opinion). I've had this place quite a few times since they do have reasonable prices compared to other restaurants on the apps.

I'll start with the good... the portion sizes are good. My food was hot and placed arranged neatly in the container. They had a $15 special on the app which includes a protein, 2 sides, cornbread, and a soda (which they sent a room temp lemonade as a replacement) so definitely reasonable in this economy. Oh, before I go on my rant, I love their red velvet down!!! It's the reason I'll probably never completely abandon them, lol.

Now, tonight the food tasted barely okay. The mac was bland and a little wet (I understand some people prefer it that way so to each it's own.) I got the catfish nugget meal and I could tell they don't properly clean the catfish. Most people don't bother to get most of the silver off to get rid of the slimy texture, so I didn't eat them. Also, there was no tartar sauce to counter the flavor. My other side was cabbage and it was so over done it melted in my mouth. Cabbage should have at least a little texture, this did not. But if you like mushy cabbage then this might be your spot. I feel like complete Seasoning is what they used to flavor it, which is fine, everyone has their preferences.

I've had their food at least seasonally so the flavor seems pretty consistent, it's just not my taste. But my daughter likes it (she's pescarian and always gets tilapia.) I usually do too but the last time I ordered they didn't have nuggets and I wanted to give them a try.

I do recommend you still give them a try, their flavor profile may be to your liking. I've heard great things about their customer service, I've just not had the pleasure of experiencing it yet.

I had the pleasure of catering a meal from Forever Family .It was delicious every item was prepared fresh and seasoned perfectly.The packaging was neat and perfect I really could not have asked for anything more plus one of the young men was kind and helped carry and placed the pans in my car.I received compliments from my guest .Thank you

A great place to really get soul food...I highly recommend.

This is the best food I’ve had since moving to GA six years ago. It was reasonably priced which is the best part of all of this. I like I paid less than $25 for turkey wing dinner with a side of dressing. The turkey was so tender and juicy! The flavor was there but not overpowering! I had the greens, macaroni with the meal, everything was delicious. The portions are big too. I’ll see yall in a few days 😭😩

Disgusting. I got the smothered pork chop and the gravy was old and the pork chop was hard and dry

Never disappoint

I had the pork chop meal with dressing and a banana pudding. The pork chop was way too salty it wasn't even edible. The banana pudding old and soggy sides were just OK dressing was too salty as well

By far, the absolutely worst food I have ever put in my mouth! Could not eat any of it. It was disgusting! How this place receives 4-5 stars is mind boggling. Complete waste of money.
