La piragua pizzeria

My first time at La Piragua Pizzeria. Also, my first time in a Cuban restaurant. The young man who took my order was very kind and polite. My pizza Looks as delicious as it taste. Will definitely come back to try other options.

The food is delicious. The Cuban pizzas are personal size and leave you wanting more. Their flank steak platter with rice and beans, tamale and fried plantain topped with grilled onions is amazing and full of flavor. Best Cuban restaurant I’ve been to.

The cuban and steak sandwich was terrible. The steak was a tough as shoe leather could not even bite through it. I tried it because of the ratings. And was hoping I would find a great cuban sandwich without having to go to Buford hwy and north druid hills road. I was dearly disappointed.

We’ve tried all the Cuban sandwiches around GA and this is by far the best we’ve had (and I’m a Miami born Cuban so I know lol) Loaded and juicy. Pricing is fair and the staff is super friendly. We also had the bistec which was delicious. Very clean restaurant! Highly recommend!!!

Came for the cortadito, stayed for the Cuban pizza & Iron Beer (IYKYK). Muy delicioso. Would highly recommend.

What a treat! This is not typical pizza. Super yummy crust and so cheesy! It’s like if Detroit Ana Chicago pizza had a baby. This will be be our go to pizza delivery for this summer!!!
