Everything is great but the food. Their quality of meat and portions are down. They used to be really good years ago but unfortunately they aren’t anymore.

Chilaquiles verdes con pollo were incredible!!! Also had the Chilaquiles Rojos con asada. Both meals were great. Will definitely be back.

Over the last few weeks I kept getting people telling me about how good this place is. First I was told about the breakfast burritos that were amazing.
I had lunch plans that got canceled at the last minute so I decided to check them out. When I parked, I noticed 2 tables of workers having lunch and clearly enjoying it. It was from La Placita. I went in and was greeted at the counter by a very nice young lady. You order at the counter here but they have a nice dining area. They sell beer here also. I got 2 tacos, one chorizo and one al pastor. You can choose corn or flour tortillas, I chose corn.
Chips come free. There is a salsa and condiment bar.

My tacos were excellent and portions were very nice.

I will be coming back and telling everyone about this place. Don't let the modest appearance from the parking lot fool you. This is good food.

I went back today and got breakfast burritos. Sooo good.

This place is amazing. The food is so good and the meal sizes are great! Everything I bring a friend they are wow’d by the taste! I love this place been going here for years and glad to see them growing!

Not to mention everybody is always so friendly and quick to assist.

Ask for extra crispy birria tacos instead I got mushy falling apart tacos wrapped on foil and had to pay for consume dip that's was greasey

I’m not from Dawsonville, I was around for work. 1st of all, the place wasn’t a pretty sight. How a place looks inside has nothing to do with service or taste of food, I know that. The employee taking our order wasn’t very nice or welcoming at all. I got a steak burrito, and it tasted ok, don’t get me wrong, but it was loaded black beans and barely had any steak In there. Also they serve it with tortilla chips, but every single chip was stale and old. It had no crisp. Was a turn off for sure. when you pay for steak burrito, you always expect to have more than a pinch of meat. Also the burrito was tiny, you could fit this burrito 3 times in a chipotle burrito, and probably wouldn’t notice. I was disappointed all way around. I wouldn’t come here again if I’m ever in town. Pay same amount at chipotle and you get way more quantity and fresh food.

The food is pretty good 👍🏻 but if yu ask for anything extra could be something little they will try to charge you or not help at all, laugh while looking at yu can tell they are making fun n it’s unnecessary 🤷🏻‍♀️ don’t need to be rude😬 , could of just charged me if they where going to act like that ..I waited for what I asked for when she said she bring it out and I never got it so it very weird experience it was a lady and younger teen that was distracted with his phone at the front desk so it was unprofessional because I needed to wait until he was done n noticed me there smh 🤦🏻‍♀️ … food is great but service could seriously use some work that way this restaurant can be 5 ⭐️

I have come here on other occasions, the food is good but this time the prices are high and my food was just lettuce and mad lettuce, they forgot the meat My order was sope de carne azada y gordita de tripa 😦
