Great Cuban sandwiches and yummy tropical ice cream and shakes. The pizza is good if you like thick crust pizza. Personally the sandwiches are what keep me coming back! Awesome take out, the Cuban Sandwich can feed two.
Delicious Cuban sandwiches! We have been there twice and both times the sandwiches were made to order and they rival Cuban sandwiches you get in Miami. I grew up in Miami so I am picky with my Cuban food. We’ve had The Cuban, the Pan con Bistec, and the Pan con Lechón. As a Miami native....I have had my share of good Cuban Sandwiches....but the sandwiches @ La Piragua are in a class by themselves. You definitely get your money's worth as the sandwiches are MASSIVE. The service is good and establishment is very clean. Be prepared to wait if you order at the counter but your patience will definitely be worth it. I will definitely be back.
