Good customer service. Clean. Dine in or take out. Plenty of parking. Delivery services will have to go inside to pick up.

Best sushi/nagiri I've had around so far, oraora is a really close second though. Staff is friendly and prices are decent.

I went back and forth trying to decide if I wanted to bother writing a review, and I have decided that I am. Firstly, we walked in and asked for Hibachi seating, and there was an older lady who made the comment that another table had just closed. We were seated and began placing our orders. I had three children with me, who are very tall for their ages. One of my children ordered the sushi dinner and we were reminded by the older employee that we were at the hibachi table, then another child older the kids chicken hibachi- the waitress stopped and asked him "How old are you?". After he answered, she asked him again as though she expected his answer to change. My Husband placed an order that was not hibachi, and she commented yet again that we were seated at the hibachi table. At that point, I had to stop everything and address the blatant rudeness and disrespect. I wanted to leave, but my children were excited to be there, so we stayed. We came to Shogun to support the business when we could have gone ANYWHERE else. There is no need to lie about child ages, but if your establishment has an issue about 0-12 years ordering as children, then lower the age to I don't know, maybe 5 years old where you can feel more certain that someone who is 11 isn't lying about their age. Secondly, if 3 out of the 5 people in my party ordered hibachi, what is the issue with being seated at the hibachi table? I will never go back to this restaurant, and I am still disgusted at the way we were treated.

***Update***7/22/24 visited during the lunch hours. The restaurant was very understaffed and the new employees trained was not there to train them. Sushi was good however, a metal screw type object was found in my water. Spoke with management and he explained that it must have fallen from their ice machine. He took 5 dollars off of my bill for the inconvenience however, I explained to him that safety should be first. This should have never happened.
**Previous visit**Visited during dinner time and sat in the dining room area. For some reason the lights around the sushi area were not lit including most of the lights in that particular area. The server and the food was good. There was a lot of playing around between the host and servers so they were just very loud and unprofessional that night, not sure if they were just bored or not trained properly on how to act customers while dining in. Even though the food was good maybe next time I'll just sit in the hibachi area since people obviously can't sit in the sine in area for some quietness.

Amazing food and great service. Sadly, they were dealing with a large order of rolls so we couldn’t get any but the steak yaki udon was a perfect second choice, the flavor was unbelievable.
