The food is delicious. I just wish more the portion size of meat was larger in each meal. The food is pricey and while they give a good amount of sides just wish the serving of meat was more.
My new soul food spot!

This is the 2nd time I’ve tried it. I live another place that was closed yesterday. Who’s got soul is expensive. The macaroni and cheese didn’t taste homemade. It looked like box Mac and cheese, bland . Candied yams had too much nutmeg. Turkey wings with the rice was very good. I got a $10 coupon for next visit… will try again. The chef kept telling me that they have been there for 25 years.

people may think this is just a ordinary restaurant but this place is my HEART AND SOUL. NOBODY in Georgia fries a 3 piece whole wing with mac and greens like they do. WHOS GOT SOUL??? THEY HAVE THE SOUL!!!! and they include a free cornbread. with 1 packet of hot sauce PER PIECE OF CHICKEN !!! I get taken back to my mamas house when i order from this place. not as good as my mommas cooking but good enough to make me write this review. THEY HAVE THE SOULLLL
My food was delicious and pickup was easy!

The food here is amazing! Not just because it's the ONLY soul food spot in this area, but because the staff takes their time with me. I've read the negative reviews and I just have never seen it. People love to report only the bad. The prices are reasonable considering the cost of food in actual grocery stores. I hate to see how we get in here and want to bash our people knowing that you're a difficult person. This establishment is ALWAYS clean! The food always looks good from the window. They welcome you in the door and take time to explain your order back to you. They have reliable kitchen staff no matter the race. The food has been consistently great for years! If you can not afford to eat out... stay at home! If you’re looking to get free items go stand in line at a food drive! I love those turkey wings, greens and Mac! So I'll always be coming back!

Yeah, the customer service is the worst!! You would think black people would try to dismantle the stereotypes while working at a black owned business…. nah, they feed right into it! Rude, snappy and unprofessional behavior is the best way to sum it up. The food aiight, for the most part but I dare not to go into the establishment where they not happy that you are there patronizing their business. Im sure the owner wouldn’t appreciate that… hopefully. Someone need to revamp their employees working there, hire some people who are happy and actually enjoy their job. Being nice goes a long way. It keeps me from going back every time.

The Food Was Great However, I watched the chef behind the counter texting on his phone instead of packaging my food and I sat and watched him until he was done. He then proceeded to cook with the food after texting on his phone and I found that to be unhygienic no one had gloves on and the guy that I got my food from at the end tried to flirt with me the guy at the register in the beginning however was very professional.

Today,4/3/2026 my experience, I felt very DISRESPECTED! Crystal was very rude, argumentative and was loudly over talking me. She refused to finish preparing my food and told the guy to serve me. Saying she was “done with me.” He didn’t even try to intervene or calm the situation down. He actually looked intimidated. So he did exactly what she instructed him to do, SILENTLY. She spoke like she could do and say whatever she wanted and nothing could be done about it. I’m sure this is not the 1st, 2nd or 3rd complaint. This will only continue to get worse and decrease the morale of your business.
I had just come from a doctor’s appointment and this was not the experience that I wanted to encounter.
At the end of the day this was a very bad experience. Hopefully the owner will take care of the issue.

I was quite disappointed to see that your restaurant has stopped selling pork because the owner has become a Muslim. Many non-Muslim customers have supported your business for years. Pork is a staple in the African American culture and it is not considered to be unclean. A large percentage of African Americans are Christian and our Bible states in Acts 10:9-15 and Mark 7: 17-19 that the foods that were considered unclean in the old testament were cleansed by an act of God. Is it fair to advertise as a Soul Food restaurant and remove a key item from your menu. You will definitely lose many customers'

Not the same anymore. They no longer sell any pork. So no pork ribs or pork chops. Only chicken and wings. I tried the wings and they were not seasoned. Also The place looks rundown. Again just doesn't look or feel the same.
