I was in town for work and noticed this place on my way out. The reviews looked decent, so I decided to stop in.
I ordered the Hog-N-Slaw sandwich and a pint of the HNB Stew (basically their version of Brunswick stew). Whenever I’m in Georgia, I always look forward to a good, hearty Brunswick stew.
The sandwich came with pulled pork, slaw, Texas toast, and BBQ sauce. Unfortunately, the pork was dry and looked like it had been sitting awhile, and I ended up throwing most of it away. The stew was okay — not great, not terrible — just somewhere in the middle.
On the positive side, the staff was very friendly, which I appreciated. But if you’re passing through and hoping for that standout, must-try BBQ spot, this isn’t it.

I had an excellent experience at Hog-N-Bones thanks to Cathy! She was welcoming, attentive, and made sure everything was just right. It’s not often you come across someone who goes the extra mile to make customers feel appreciated, but Cathy did exactly that. Friendly service, quick with a smile, and very professional—she really made the visit enjoyable. I’ll definitely be coming back, and I’ll be asking for Cathy again!

The absolute best food on the planet. Who would’ve thought that a restaurant that served barbecue would be awesome about serving breakfast and there’s a there is a server who does her job unbelievably well Kathy is the best I observed her on one vacation when she had 35 people to serve and take care of she did it with a smile on her face and never made a mistake.

The BBQ was delicious. We had pulled pork, ribs and chicken. Everything was smoked to perfection and the sides were fantastic. Customer service was top notch and the manager even stopped by the table to check on us. Super friendly and great service.
We are from a suburb of Jacksonville, Fl and every time my family comes through we stop and eat here. I would die to have one of these in the Oakleaf area of Jacksonville. It would kill there! Please open one!
