Bruster's Real Ice Cream

I recently went to this location and let me just say this as clearly as possible: NEVER. AGAIN. I am honestly appalled, disgusted, and quite frankly traumatized. After eating a single scoop of their “ice cream,” I landed in the hospital with a post-dairy inflammatory catastrophic syndrome, something so serious they had to call in three specialists, a consultant, and a priest.
I spent 6–7 weeks hospitalize. My insurance got cutttt and now I have to pay $8,965.96 OUT OF POCKET because I made the mistake of trusting this establishment with my digestive system.
And honestly? I should’ve taken the cockroaches strolling across the counter as a sign to runnn, but silly me I assumed it was part of the aesthetic. Maybe a “farm-to-table” concept? Maybe a petting zoo? I don’t know. I should’ve known better. Also, let’s talk about one of the workers I came across named Justin.
Justin I dont know if you were having a bad day or if you simply lack the basic training required to run an ice cream parlor, but your customer service was nonexistent. You told me the flavor of the day was “Cookies & Dream.” Well, Justin the only dream I had after eating here was the dream of surviving long enough to file this review.
At this point, I expect:
- a full refund
- reimbursement for my medical bills
- emotional damages
- compensation for the trauma
- AND a handwritten apology
I WILL be contacting corporate, the health department, the Better Business Bureau, and honestly anyone else who answers the phone. Pls fix your establishment before someone else ends up starring in a medical documentary.

If i could give this place a -5, I would. First, the customer service was horrible. The man Justin took my order and assumed I wanted the banna pudding flavor because I am black. He made me feel uncomfortable and questioned if I had enough money to pay. But before that, He made eye contact with me through the window and INTENTIONALLY ignored me for 5 minutes. It wasn't until I knocked I was finally served but he defintiely served me with some atittude. The portion was TINY it felt like he gave me HALF a scoop. The waffle bowl was stale and when I made a complaint he said well thats too bad and closed the window IN MY FACE. The ice cream tasted stale and old. I dont recommend

If I could give this place a 0, I would. This was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a Bruster’s. I went last week and the establishment was messy, poorly managed, and overall very unprofessional. I was also very uncomfortable with the behavior and demeanor of the manager, especially around the younger staff, VERY CREEPY! The environment did not feel appropriate or well-supervised. Between the lack of cleanliness and the concerning management, I will not be returning.DONT RECOMMEND!!!

i saw roaches and there was a grown man who took my order and he was acting very off putting.

I am never coming back here. I heard management yell at the workers saying they were not allowed to clean up the spilled ice cream until the very end of the day because it would “waste resources.” I paid no mind to this until I saw a huge cockroach crawling around the counter. I’m so disgusted. What has food safety turned to!?

I was very displeased. As I was ordering, I saw a roach crawling in the back. I didn’t let my children eat the ice cream that i had purchased. Do better. Very disappointed. Never returning.

The young lady that took my order seemed to be preoccupied, the young man the delivered my order at the pickup window was very courteous. I had a question about how to make a custom order. Please inform the employees how to use the Bruster’s Real Ice Cream App to preorder.

Nice ice cream stop with outdoor seating (some in the sun, some in the shade). Good selection and quick service. Has a drive through as an added convenience.

I come here soo much! The staff is so wonderful and eager to help! They even have a cool tik tok page! Bruster’s has always been my favorite place to get ice cream and this store really is amazing!
