This place was much cleaner than usual, a sign of new management. Then chicken appeared to be cooked to order as there was no product in the selection bins which is a good thing. The thigh was cooked a little long and not as juicy as what I expect at a Church's restaurant. I would think a breast would have been too dry for my compromised swallow as the primary reason I go to Church's is because it's never dry. The leg was missing some breading so a patch of meat was hard and dry. I've been eating at Church's since the 1970s and this is the first time I have ever seen this. Hopefully, it's part of the new crew getting acclimated. I was surprised they don't allow on-line ordering or carry the Texas 2 piece special every day, 2 pieces of chicken with a Jalapeño and Biscuit. It's reminiscent of the old dinner pack that also included cole claw. It's been $2.99 for a while but recently went up $.50 to $3.49 which is still a good deal for a quick snack. I'll be back to see how they're doing, for sure.
Chicken is very juicy and tender no complaint there but service is nightmare, I order 2 combo meal and they missing a drink and bread and straw on one order and missing bread and give me white meat when I order dark on second order, make matter worst soda had no sprinkle at all come on how badly can they mess up one order???!!!Btw I order spicy and just realize I got original holy basically everything is wrong! Food is good but really need to check head to toe on their service

Went and was told the things I wanted weren't Available but then was given them. Wasn't afforded a receipt when requested because something I ordered wasn't in the bag and wanted to ensure I wasn't charged for it. Sat parked at the drive thru window for at least 10min which is fine but I thought it was supposed to be a quick service thing... Food came out alright and was fresh.

I have given this location 2 visits and been disappointed both times. The chicken isn't seasoned well and it is over fried. I ordered a lemon cheesecake turn over and it was burned to a crisp and the filling of couse was missing. Good money...bad food. Do not waste your money.. does the texas in the name mean they have altered the receipe. I know the receipe was stolen decades ago from the Paschal brothers.so I guess I have to go there for their fabulous chicken...cuz this Church's doesn't have it.
