Empanada Express

Got food from here for the first time today! Delicious. Pastry is to die for. We had beef, chicken, and corn and they were all great. Will go back to try others. There are some tables if you want to eat there. It is open til 7 but I'd recommend going on the early side to make sure they are not out of the flavors you want. Lovely server!

I finally stopped in here to pick up lunch for my family after hearing others talk about how good it was. I am SO glad I did! It was quick, convenient, cheap, and most importantly delicious! I’ve had many empanadas before and these were some of very the best. Flaky, flavorful crusts, several yummy fillings to choose from, and a perfect dipping sauce. We tried the beef, chicken, caprese, spinach, and corn. They were all EXCELLENT. I particularly loved the caprese for how unique it was and the chicken- super flavorful. The banana pudding was also a great dessert to round it all out. I was in and out in less time than I would have spent in the CFA drive thru, and spent $35 for 3 adults including dessert. Do yourself a favor a fry this local gem, located behind the new Chipotle on 29.

I learned about empanada express in a local Lilburn Facebook group and after reading the comments I knew I had to try and I’m sure glad that I did! These empanadas are so flavorful and it’s not your usual seasonings that you would expect. Hard to explain… you just have to try them. We got a variety of empanadas and on our second visit we grabbed some banana pudding! Bomb

These are the BEST empanadas that I have ever had! I always get the spicy beef and spanich along with the kale salad, but all of them are delicious. The establishment is clean and the service is friendly. You can call in your order and give them a time you want to pickup. Give them a try, you will be disappointed.

Food is good but customer service is awful. I will not be spending my money here again I don’t care what the food tastes like. Restaurant is by my school and I live 2 hours away. I bought extra food to take home bc I keep a cooler in my car. When I ordered the food I didn’t even look at it. I stuck in strait in my cooler. Tht night when I got home I seen they put an extra banana pudding in and I thought oh tht was nice. Over a week later I go back in and the lady wants to ad the banana pudding to my current order. Say what? I didn’t pack my food, you did. I don’t think I should have to pay for your mistake. Now if u would have asked if I minded paying for it. I would have happily paid but to force me to pay with my current order without even an apology like I purposely stole it. Naw.. I walked out and didn’t buy nothing and won’t be back. I don’t care if it’s a few bucks. Who does tht? I didn’t walk in and purposely steal it you guys packed it. You guys should checked the receipt as u packed it to make sure u didn’t give extra food or miss giving food. Good luck to guys but u want see a penny more of my money and i definitely won’t be referring yall to any1 else. All over a $3 banana pudding.

Love this place! Everything tastes incredible & the options are wonderful. The spinach empanadas are my personal favorite but my family loves the cheese, beef & cheese, spicy chicken, and corn varieties. I call in and order whatever I need & pick up freshly made empanadas - absolutely wonderful!!!

The best empanadas I’ve had! I ordered the spicy beef, spicy chicken and regular chicken. Not only was the food delicious, it was FRESH. The owner was the sweetest and expressed her appreciation for my business. Definitely recommend.

I wanted to like this place but the owner working there had a bad attitude as soon as I walked in. All I did was ask a couple questions about the empanadas because it was my first time going there and she was so abrupt, curt and rude and actually told me to go somewhere else. I was mortified and tried to reason with her that’s not how you talk to customers especially since it was my first time. I ordered one empanada to see if I liked it and all I did was ask about the red die on the empanada and she immediately became offended and ordered me to leave. How dare I be treated that way? I’m still in disbelief as I wrote this. Then she had to nerve to add God into the conversation and said “God is watching you” like I did something wrong. What !!? This place needs a lesson in customer service. The empanadas are actually tasty but the tone of the owner/worker was foul and I will not ever return. Buyer beware.

BEST EMPANADAS IN TOWN

Customer service was excellent and so was the food! The cashier was very nice and friendly. I ordered 4 kinds of empanadas (spicy chicken, spicy beef, regular chicken, and regular beef). All of them were so good! The crust was flaky and they were hot and fresh. I enjoyed them so much that I went back and got more.

I can’t believe this hidden gem is so close to my house. The best empanadas I’ve ever had and it’s not even close. This spot will definitely be in my regular rotation from now on. Oh and they make banana pudding better than your grandma!
