We went for breakfast and our waiter Josh provided excellent customer service. He handled everything without being told or reminded. The atmosphere is much better. They now have a better team which is a plus.

Credit Card and Debit Card Users-BEWARE!!!

After eating our breakfast at the IHOP located at 4205 Stone Mountain Hwy, Lilburn, GA, we asked for the bill, double checked it and gave the waiter our Credit Card to pay.

The waiter ran our Credit Card through the machine at the table in our presence.

After running it through the first time the waiter said:

It did NOT take, I have to run it again.

After running it through a second time, the waiter said:

I have to go in the waiting area because I am not getting a connection, I’ll be right back.

I told the waiter, NO, you are not taking our Credit Card out of our sight; cancel the credit card process RIGHT NOW and we will pay in Cash.

The waiter said:

Oh, it just went through.

We received confirmation via our cell phone that the Credit Card had been processed.

So if the connection in the IHOP was good enough for us to receive the confirmation of Credit Card Payment,

the Connection was good enough for the Waiter to run the Credit Card in our Presence, the first time and process the payment.

We sat there and discussed what had happened before we left our table. My husband said he saw the same waiter pull the same trick on an elderly woman as we arrived.  We watched the other waiters, and they took the payment of their customers at the seats with no problems.

So it might be an isolated Waiter trying to SCAM customers.

Be aware of this SCAM!!!!!

We ordered take out this evening … The waitress that took our order was very kind and patient and very helpful very welcoming even the manager came over to just to assist and just to be helpful as well.. Are order was perfect when we made it home to eat .. it was fresh and made with love … Everything was amazing.. and mysteak omelette was the bomb.. Thanks will definitely be back it’s a FIVE STAR For sure..

I ordered bacon, toast, and hasbrowns. The food came cold, nit even like warm. The toast is super chewy which is probably why it was hard to even bite it. The hashbrowns were burnt. Safe to safe that I won't be ordering from here again.

I got the pancake combo with 2 pancakes, 2 eggs, 2 bacon strips and hash browns,and it was all perfectly cooked to my order. The cinnamon roll pancakes were to die for, I didn't even need syrup. Absolutely amazing!
