Cool atmosphere and kind staff. Unfortunately my husband and I both had the worst octopus dishes in our lives. On the menu, the Pulpo appears to be grilled with nice plating. When it arrived at our table, it has zero charring, and it was boiled... Overcooked, tough and with no flavor. The plating was unappetizing and we were both extremely disappointed. Mofongo was good, though. My biggest regret was not asking for a different meal instead. An unfortunate first and expensive meal. Unsure about returning here based on this meal alone.. It was really that disappointing.

First time ordering from this place based on reviews, I was very excited. I ordered through Uber eats. I ordered the baked chicken meal it comes with white rice, beans and house salad. I also ordered the oxtail rice and peas and house salad. I made it a point to put a note in that I did not want white rice instead I wanted rice and peas (pigeon peas). My ordered arrived both meals had white rice smh no peas… the baked chicken was completely missing! I called the restaurant immediately spoke to someone who I felt completely blew me off telling me that she found my order in the system and that my note says I don’t want rice and beans I expressed to her that I clearly wrote NO white rice how she misinterpreted no white rice to mean only white rice I will never know. She also said the lady who packed the baked chicken packed it personally as if it were her word against mine, she told me maybe the driver had something to do with the missing order and that I should take it up with Uber. Not a good first time experience. No type of help rectifying my missing order smh. The oxtail was not to my liking, the house salad and its dressing was pretty good although it was more cabbage than lettuce. I will not be ordering from this place again and Uber has a lot of explaining to do. The Food that I did receive wasn’t worth the almost $60 I paid for it. Good Luck fellow reviewers sometimes in restaurants we take a gamble this was mine. ??♀️

I ate at Versace a few days ago and when I go, I always have the Monfongo with shrimp, and garlic butter sauce and it hits every time. Jose was my server and he was awesome. Very friendly. I’ll be back soon even though they just opened one up in Grayson which is closer to me ?but I’m always in the Pleasant Hill area so I won’t forget about y’all over there. Lol.

I do not recommend this place, the food is priceless, I arrived at the place and ordered white rice, black beans and goat and the drink but when they gave me the ticket the food was worth 38 plus the tip I paid a total of 45 dollars, the food is not very good and the price is high
