“I have been looking for a great Mexican spot in Stone Mountain since moving here and Lupita’s is THAT spot. Amazing, delicious, authentic food that really hits the spot if you’re craving the best! I always forget to get pictures before we eat because it’s so good I can’t stop myself before digging in. But I highly recommend this spot!“

“I LOVE THIS PLACE!! This is a lovely hole in the wall that has incredible, truly authentic, from scratch Mexican food, and at very reasonable prices! I am in love with both their chicken and pork tamales, which are the size I expect from a tamale (two is enough for a nice meal!) and their al pastor taco was also lovely!

This is a no frills place, so if you want a fancy atmosphere, you'll want to go elsewhere, but I enjoy their home-y decor and they really deliver on the food!

- torta de al pastor - includes avocado and jalapeño slices, refried beans, lettuce and tomatoes. The Al pastor was tasty but didn’t see or taste any pineapple.
- quesadilla de asada - very homey feel. Great portion filled with asada. Brings onion/cilantro and limes on the side.
- not pictured quesabirria - my favorite! So cheesy and delicious.

Overall true to its name, authentic Mexican food. Perfect for a hearty quick bite.

“The food came out quickly although they were busy. The delicious fajitas were sizzling & the meat was tender & juicy. The waitress was attentive & professional. We also enjoyed the guacamole. The green sauce was a bit on the spicy side if you need to know for your tummy. Lovely authentic music helped provide a festive atmosphere on a Sunday evening. There are not a lot of places open since it’s Sunday, so this place will be a welcomed sight.“

“Food is great when you can get the server to actually get the order right. This is my 4th time coming here and each time I order the same thing, enchiladas supreme. I ask for all beef and all flour tortillas. How hard can it be. The server repeats my order and it still comes out wrong. I request it to be remade, and this time it comes out all beef but in CORN versus the flour tortillas I asked for. At this point, I no longer want the meal. You would think that as a courtesy for the inconvenience the manager would comp the other $21.99 meal for inconvenience. Nope, so I politely paid the ticket and determined that I will never visit this establishment again. Horrible server, service and even more a moron of a manager (Francisco). If your waiter doesn't write down your order, just know it may have to be redone several times and they will surely look at you as if to say, "you don't want it"? TF 🙄😡🤬“

Their burritos are awesome (my favorite is the Homewrecker, with steak), their chips are fresh, and they have the best salsas around (my favorite is Who Is Kaiser Salsa? but also like the tomatillo as well as some of the seasonal ones).
