We tried Shorty's yesterday. It was a great experience we met John his lovey wife and his father. The are really sweet, friendly folks. Their food potatoe salad, bbq, Mac and cheese, slaw, peach cobbler and them drinks peach tea, strawberry lemonade was some of the best ever. We will definitely go back

Customer service was A1, not very popular here in Ga so I was pleased. I ordered rib tips they were a bit chewy and there was not enough sauce (which comes separate) I’ll definitely come back for their customer service alone & give their food another try very welcoming environment, parking nice view while sitting in the sun they have fans and misters and umbrellas as well!

Got there as they was closing still was able to get anything on the menu It wasn’t very long? Before they came out with My rib tip combo within 10 minutes . It was a mixture of old meat mixed with some fresh cook meat you can tell the meat was old because it wasn’t very tender and there was a few pieces that Were I suggest that you don’t go near closing time? I’ll give them another try earlier in the day but never at closing again.

This place is our go to for BBQ. On a bright sunny day you can sit outside and enjoy great food and conversation with the owners. My wife Barb and I have been regular folks at this great BBQ Spot. The ribs are moist, pull pork has its own smoke tasty flavor but the Brunswick stew is the good stuff.

I had the chopped chicken and Mac and cheese and sweet tea, the chicken was ok, but I really went there for good home style Mac and cheese cause the picture on website looked so yummy , but I took a bite and was so disappointed because it tasted exactly like canned chef boy r d Mac n cheese, and did not satisfy my Mac n cheese craving, I only ate it cause I was working all day and was hungry, as for the sweet tea, it tasted like it was made with water from a filthy moldy hose or something, it was so bad I threw it away, and I never waste tea, as it’s in of my favorite beverages. I say this all as an honest review of my meal and hope no one takes offense, but rather improves, I really do wish them the best, but whatever you do, don’t drink the tea.

Our family was in Locust Grove for a wedding and was lucky to find Shortys. The day after the wedding all of the family who had gathered in Locust Grove (from far and wide, CA, CO, SC, GA) stuck around for a family get together and we placed a small catering order. The process was seamless, the service impeccable, and the food was delicious! Thank you…highly recommend!
