This is a cute little chill spot! The vibe was nice, the employees were sure to greet me as I walked in, with smiles I might add! Unfortunately the only bad thing was my food container. I ordered the beignets and I’m assuming, due to the temperature and being taken out of the grease and put into a styrofoam container, it cause my plate to have multiple holes. But nonetheless the food was good, service, and vibe were nice! I will be back

I’ve tried many things on the menu as I work next door at Magnolias, and by far the best thing I’ve had is the hamburger quesadilla with 1000 island sauce.

Literally the worst experience I’ve ever had in a restaurant. I was hit with a wave of grease smell when I entered the restaurant and immediately regretted my order. I got the cheeseburger quesadilla and it was genuinely one of the worst things I’ve ever eaten. Not only was the food awful, but the older man preparing my food touched raw chicken and did not change his gloves before preparing my food. He didn’t change his gloves after, either. While I was waiting for my order, I saw him touch other various raw meats and produce with the same gloves. Definitely not worth the money. Left with an upset stomach and probably contracted mild salmonella.

Depending on who is cooking the food is very hit or miss. For me it's more of a miss unfortunatly. I have eaten here/ ordered food from here 6 or 7times now. The chicken fries are good depending on who is making them they may be sauced af or dry as he'll. Burgers are meh, chicken tenders dry. The boneless wings are fantastic but the hottest hot sauce is mild at best. The broccoli cheddar soup was oily and gritty. I would love to give this place a better review as my husband has had some great food from here. If the food was consistently amazing I would rate higher. Hopefully I can give them a better review in the future.

I've come to eat at Philanthropy Fresh at least once a week since it opened ?. The Philanthropy Burger (with grilled chicken) is my favorite on the menu. Love the atmosphere - they have great playlists and good lighting, and I'm always super productive when I go there to study. The staff are also SUPER nice. In general, I just love the concept of being able to eat healthy below $10 AND also contribute to a charity with every purchase you make. I think the concept of a cafe/bistro in Downtown, Athens was NEEDED. I was so sick and tired of having blueberry muffins and scones all day because other cafés don't really sell food. Overall, 9/10 WOULD RECOMMEND!

The food isn't bad, but over a two day period I watched the food go up like $2 an item on Doordash. Very disappointing to take advantage of customers like that.

Good food at good prices, but the kitchen is very quick to forget ingredients on delivery orders. Be sure to double check if you order through a delivery service. Door dash is quick to help, but I would always rather get the food perfectly the first time. Only really had two issues but I've been ordering from them Non-Stop and the last couple deliveries have had noticeable mistakes. Dish will be 100% different the second time.
