“If you want good down home country cooking, this is your place! Ms. Cathy and staff are hospitable and customer service a priority! Great fried chicken, fried pork chops, catfish on Fridays. The best tasting vegetables you will find on a buffet period! If you want to order of the menu you can do that too and the hamburgers are some of the best you’ll eat anywhere. The catfish plate is one of my favorites and did I mention the seafood on Friday Night? Perfect place to stop by and eat before heading to The Pit to watch the 2024 GHSA State Champion Toombs County Bulldogs play football! By the way, Ms. Cathy feeds the Bulldogs their pregame meal so her food is the “food that champions eat”! Stop by any day but Sunday….you’ll be glad you did!“

“Typically I would rate this at four stars but when we visited the service was below the bar. We waited way longer then normal for our food and it appear the kitchen was "flooded" and the server was over sat. Food was awesome as always but wish the service has been a little better.“

“I had the mushroom cheese steak with everything and it was unbelievably delicious. The picture only shows half of the sandwich which I will eat tomorrow because I couldn't possibly eat any more than half. I haven't had that much meat on a sandwich since I moved south. I would recommend this place highly to anybody who's looking for a really good cheesesteak. It definitely a perfect mixture of meat and cheese and just enough lettuce and tomato and onion to accent it. We watched him cut the meat fresh before he chopped it up to cook it. I can't say enough good things about how delicious the sandwich was.“
