“While passing through on business we stopped in to El Mexicano, if you are going to places by how they look you will pass this one up. I can say that we thought twice but being a hole in the wall guy we gave it a shot. The staff was super friendly and everyone that helped us spoke perfect english. We got chips and salsa right off the bat and the salsa was very tasty. I ordered the gordita's and a quesadilla. I got 3 seperate meats in the gordita's, the shells were house made, fresh, hot, crispy and delicious. The quesadilla was bigger than most places, flavorful and I would have like to have a little more cheese in it but thats just me being picky. My friend had the tacos, the shells were also fresh and flavorful. If you pass by this little gem then you are definitely missing out!“

“Yummy, nacho supreme was awesome. fresh, quick, and the Shredded chicken was juicy. so many flavors. The sweet tea was cold, SWEET, and refreshing. waiter was very nice and attentive. chips were fresh and crunchy n Salsa was fresh and spicy- just right!“

“love their Pina colada and to us so far the food has been delicious we're from Florida. We've been here in Vidalia since May we tried other Mexican restaurants but this is our favorite because of their food“

“We’ve been frequenting Rio for years and have always had very friendly, prompt, efficient, service. The food is the best Mexican we’ve gotten anywhere and the prices are good. Family friendly place to take your family and large groups, as well. Even when it is a busy day and time, you know you can go there and will be seated and served in a very timely manner.“
