“What a gem in Dublin. You know I like to find good food wherever I am. La Joya's customer service and food was excellent. As soon as we sat down the server brought out crab chips and salsa. We ordered and we're surprised how fast our food came out. I ordered the carnitas, my hubby ordered the bistec Mexicana and our kids ordered kids meals. I also ordered the hibiscus tea, which is delicious. It's a small place but the dining area is cozy. Great service, great food, and great prices. If you like Mexican food, try this place.“
“The food was great and reasonably priced. Only $17 for a big juice steak and 5 succulent shrimp with beans/rice and guacamole salad...whatttt That's unheard of these days! The ambiance was cool. My mate and I were laughing loud as usual and never once got frowned upon. I definitely recommend this spot, and we will return! Service was fast, too!“
“Well of course the place smelled great.Very friendly staff.Bartender was patient with a few that had already had a few too many, by 2:00pm.One was talking a little loud and filthy, sounded to be a regular, was in some company uniform doing his day drinking.A little pricey but, I'm cheap.Took a while to get my meal, but I'm impatient. The portion looked small, but I'd want double even if they gave too much. The meal tasted great.“
“Special #3 which was very tasty, rice was little mushy but all in all the dinner was good. I would have given it a five star rating but the reason I don't is because after I ate I noticed my plate and several chips out of it and a crack. Very unsanitary and full of bacteria. Restaurants are not to serve on chipped or cracked plates. I then had to use their bathroom which was very dirty, walls floor etc. This really made me think what does the kitchen look like.“
