“Our group of 5 celebrating a birthday was excited about the Deano’s experience! We had reservations and were called timely. Our server KiKi was very knowledgeable about the menu and specials, as well as taking care of each request, always with a smile. Food was wonderful! Chicken Marseille and Salmon along with specialty salads were our choices. As we exited, each employee we met spoke as if old friends! Great job Deanos’s!“

“We stopped in for an impromptu Mother's Day lunch. We ate at the bar. Nathan took great care of us. His recommendations were excellent. The Grillades were exceptional. Tender pork and crayfish in a balance rich sauce over grits. Yum! The chef Charles actually came out so we could tell him how good everything was. We will be back!“

“This is truly one of the best soul food restaurants in town, it could possibly be the best. Food is always delicious. Fried fish will have you coming back over and over again. Chicken and pork chop some other than gravy reminds you of how grandmama used to cook. I have never been disappointed. It is truly a hidden treasure in the city of Dublin.“

“I didn't dine in, so I can't comment on the atmosphere since I did take out at lunchtime. I actually purchased lunch and dinner. Calamari was a little dry/chewy, but the sauce made it tasty. The salmon sushi roll was pretty good. The avocado salad was a little saugy. The spring roll was crunchy, just how I liked it. Prices were cheaper than Tokyo, but Tokyo is better!“

“Our waitress, Jelly was amazing. 10/10! She was going beyond the basic duties for her job. She was very welcoming since we stepped inside. She got our drinks and order in so fast, better then anyone we have had before coming to this Waffle House. I haven’t met someone so patient and professional at a Waffle House like this. I HIGHLY recommend coming to this particular Waffle House. Jelly was very attentive to whenever we asked for our meal to have certain things on it and what we didn’t want. She didn’t make us feel alienated, which I was appreciative of. I really hope that Jelly gets some recognition and respect from her higher ups for her attitude to her customers!“

“We, a party of seven, were there for three hours on April 13, 2024. They were extremely business as it was Prom Night for at least one, possibly two, area schools. The four stars on food are because Longhorn is average on their food. I don't care which one you go to, they're just average. Service gets three stars as they appeared to be short of bussing the tables. We waited for 15-20 minutes for them to clean and reset our table. Atmosphere - - - it's a chain restaurant. Need I say more. Overall I may be a little too critical as it probably wasn't a normal Saturday night.“

The food is made to order, so you may have to wait unless you call in your order ahead of time. They have failed 3 health inspections in a row. I don't know if it's new ownership or just a decline in standards. Sadly, I will not eat here again until and unless they raise their standards (and their score)...UPDATE (10/23/23): Not sure how long it’s been this way but they are under new management with decent health scores. The food is as good as it used to be with only a couple exceptions…give it a try.“
