“We met friends for lunch at Black Barley a few weeks ago. It was our first time dining there. It's almost an hour away from us, but we'll definitely be back.
The burgers, fries and onion rings were delicious. My husband, who is picky about wings, gave them 5 Stars!
Our server, Madison, was excellent. She was able to answer any questions we had about the menu selections and made extra sure that our order would be correct. She has a very pleasant personality and professional demeanor.

“We eat here very often and the food is the best! However we walked in with a party of 16 for a birthday party and the staff were more than accommodating! We got a table immediately after walking in and chips and salsa were on the tables before we could finish sitting down. We didn’t wait long for food at all after ordering and all the food was hot coming out of the kitchen! It was nice to walk into a restaurant and have the staff be so welcoming and accommodating! “The cook that made our food must have been trained by Gordon Ramsey because it was the best Sunday all-star meal I’ve ever eaten in my life. Bacon was crispy, eggs over medium were cooked perfectly, toast buttered just right. My grits were on point. My wife’s food was just as good. Hash browns were perfect, usually a lil too oily for my liking at this establishment, but these weren’t. Sausage was perfectly cooked nice crust yet not over cooked. When I arrived around 3 with my children, the young Caucasian girl at the front who seats guests was not very welcoming at all. It wasn’t busy, so that definitely stood out and is the main reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5. On the other hand, my server (a young guy with blond hair) was absolutely amazing! He was attentive, kept a smile on his face the entire time, made sure our drinks stayed full, and cleared dirty plates quickly. His great attitude really made the dining experience enjoyable despite the rocky start.“
