A true gem of a restaurant and staff, we plan to come back here as often as possible. We were in town for a friends wedding and The Swanson was recommended by the bride and groom. The absolute best place this Texan has found for good home cooked food that you grew up on. With all of my traveling I have searched for the best chicken fried steak with sides and this place wins it hands down! One of, if not the best I've had outside of Texas! The lil cornbread or biscuits are something im also hooked on. Large portions, consistent flavors and a fair price keep me here 2-3 times a week.
