“Great experience!!. Came late at night. waitress was super nice and welcome. Food was great. And the icing on the top, Our waitress even gave us waffle house hats. It doesn't get much better than that. Overall 10 out of 10 definitely recommend.“

“I ordered a ribeye and it was so pathetic....it was extremely thin and tasted like hamburger meat and raw steak at the same time....lost our business.
Lastly, we sat down and ever plate, bowl, utensil, and cutting board were left on the table from start to finish. It was unacceptable and repulsive.“

“One of my favorite places to eat in Perry! The food is always good and you get a lot for the price. I usually get the hibachi and it’s always fresh. The employees are nice and even when they’re busy, the food comes out pretty quick. Definitely recommend this spot!“

“Metropolis is on of my local favorite restaurants I've frequented over 10 years. Today, tried outside my usual and had the Malai Kofta....Absolutely Amazing! Also enjoyed my favorite tonight, their Vegetable Samosas & added garlic naan. I Definitely Recommend this Delicious Restaurant!!! Customer Service is Always Outstanding!“

“Amazing service from our server Jaden. He was attentive and very polite. We ordered the Broken egg biscuit and the Eggs Benedict. Food was delicious although the grits could use a bit more seasoning. It was our first visit but we will definitely be back.“

“We had a dog so our adult family of 6 ate on the patio. It was a little hot even with a fan but it was mid 90’s so…. First of all the star of the meal was our server, Clarence. He was absolutely amazing. Our food was great including wings, burgers, nachos, onion rings. We are all looking forward to coming back and trying more items. Thank you for a wonderful experience!“

“Excellent experience at this Waffle House location on 9/4/26! The food was delicious and made fresh (waffles, sausage patties & a hash brown). Our server was attentive and extremely friendly! Additionally, the establishment was clean, therefore I would highly recommend giving this Waffle House a visit!“

“We eat here very often and the food is the best! However we walked in with a party of 16 for a birthday party and the staff were more than accommodating! We got a table immediately after walking in and chips and salsa were on the tables before we could finish sitting down. We didn’t wait long for food at all after ordering and all the food was hot coming out of the kitchen! It was nice to walk into a restaurant and have the staff be so welcoming and accommodating! They truly went above and beyond! Thank you El J’s!!!“

“The cook that made our food must have been trained by Gordon Ramsey because it was the best Sunday all-star meal I’ve ever eaten in my life. Bacon was crispy, eggs over medium were cooked perfectly, toast buttered just right. My grits were on point. My wife’s food was just as good. Hash browns were perfect, usually a lil too oily for my liking at this establishment, but these weren’t. Sausage was perfectly cooked nice crust yet not over cooked. Waffle was perfectly cooked and fluffy. And my food was all to-go. Just had to leave a review which I never do. Great job y’all.“

“The seating area needs a serious FACELIFT. MAKE a conscious choice to either be modern OR nostalgic, but just being outdated is not inviting. Its blan and ine can make the assumption that if the dexir is blan perhaps the food is too. HOWEVER, its not the food taste ok. The food is alright. Nothing to write home about BUT pretty decent for the price.“

“We always order from here on Christmas Eve and whenever we’re in town craving Asian cuisine. The food is consistently fresh and delicious, and our order is usually ready for pickup within 20–25 minutes when we call ahead. Our favorite dishes are the sesame chicken, sweet and sour chicken, house fried rice, crab rangoons, and spring rolls—all are excellent and never disappoint.“
