“I had heard about Southern Heritage from several friends that they had good Chicken Salad. So I ordered the Chicken Salad. To say that the Chicken Salad (with nuts and grapes) was good doesn’t go far enough. It was delicious and worthy of being served at any ‘formal gathering.’ Or, a quick snack.“
“We’ve eaten here several times and usually have a good experience. The wings are very good. Tonight on a Friday night I called twice to place an order and no one answered. I thought maybe they were closed. I drove over to find them open. They were very busy and I see now why the one person working out front couldn’t answer the phone, there were customers waiting inside. I highly recommend you hiring enough staff to answer your phone because you are losing business. I almost went elsewhere instead of driving over I almost assumed you were closed. I took a chance and drove over to see if they were open and they were. I’m sure several people did go elsewhere. The one person working out front to take all the orders and supposedly answer the phone can’t do it all and especially not well and offer the customer service you expect. Please hire some additional staff for your busy times to help your staff and your customers.“
“We, a party of seven, were there for three hours on April 13, 2024. They were extremely business as it was Prom Night for at least one, possibly two, area schools. The four stars on food are because Longhorn is average on their food. I don't care which one you go to, they're just average. Service gets three stars as they appeared to be short of bussing the tables. We waited for 15-20 minutes for them to clean and reset our table. Atmosphere - - - it's a chain restaurant. Need I say more. Overall I may be a little too critical as it probably wasn't a normal Saturday night.“
“This place is great! I just recently started working in the area, and I'm already hooked on the loaded BBQ baked potatoe!! Plus the BBQ is truly southern cuisine! I was told it is a family recipe past down from generation to generation. One of those generations turned it into perfection! I love that they don't skimp on the amount of BBQ they put on the bun too! Even though they have a convenient drive up window, don't confuse them with a fast food chain! The food and the service with a genuine smile make it so much more! They might as well get used to me because I've found my favorite go to lunch hour spot!!“
