“Sonny’s BBQ in Macon on Zebulon is the best one we’ve been to in a long time! The food was great and our server, Taylar, was wonderful! Very friendly welcome when we arrived. Whoever owns this Sonny’s, please come to East Tennessee/Knoxville area! We need a Sonny’s there! One that is well managed like Macon!“

“After our initial lunch spot turned out to be closed, gave Pig On A Pie a try and it was really, really good. Just got a small pepperoni and would definitely come back again. Nice to know good pizza is on this side of town.“

“We visited this restaurant on February 19th, 2022 for my husband's birthday. The service was absolutely the best we've had in years from any restaurant we've been. Jessica was an exceptional server. The manager Molly was called by us to our table afterwards to boast on the entire experience. The food was to die for! Definitely would recommend to anyone we know. Signed Happy (and full) Campers!“

“We had the absolute best Valentine’s Day experience at Texas Roadhouse in Macon — and it was all because of our incredible server, Collua Newton. On one of the busiest days of the year, Collua never missed a beat. The restaurant was packed, yet she handled everything with confidence, grace, and a genuine smile. From the moment she greeted us, she made us feel like we were her top priority. That level of attentiveness on Valentine’s Day is rare. Our drinks stayed filled, our food arrived perfectly timed, and she checked on us consistently without ever being intrusive. She knew the menu thoroughly, offered excellent recommendations, and managed the fast-paced environment with true professionalism. You could tell she takes pride in her work. What truly set her apart was her personality. She was warm, engaging, and authentic — not rehearsed, not rushed — just naturally exceptional. She didn’t simply wait tables; she elevated the entire dining experience. Texas Roadhouse is incredibly fortunate to have Collua Newton representing their brand. Her professionalism and personality are top tier, and she exemplifies exactly what hospitality should look like. In fact, she should absolutely be considered for corporate-level advertising or brand representation. She embodies the Texas Roadhouse spirit in a way that feels genuine and memorable. If every location had someone like Collua, the bar for service nationwide would rise instantly. We will absolutely be back — and we’ll be asking for her by name.“

“Took forever to get our meal. Waitress went awol a few times. Order the most expensive steak on the menu medium rare. Steak was over cooked to over medium almost well ( very little pink ) and I was not impressed. Didn't complain because we were just passing thru and now running late and didnt have time for them to go rustle another cow of the pasture.“

“This is place that my wife and I stop on our way to Florida all the time. The food is great for a buffet better than a truckstop buffet which the two of us have eaten few times. I plan on eating there in march on my way to Florida. We have also eaten at the one in Valdosta little bit smaller and faster pace in there compared to Macon location. The only one problem I wish u would maybe consider putting on the salad bar is blue cheese dressing everything else is great. See u soon“

“Absolutely outstanding experience from start to finish. The brisket was phenomenal—tender, juicy, and packed with rich smoky flavor that clearly comes from someone who knows barbecue inside and out. The Brunswick stew was just as impressive, hearty and perfectly balanced, easily some of the best I’ve had anywhere in Georgia. What truly set this place apart, though, was the service. It was genuinely out of this world—friendly, attentive, and welcoming without feeling rushed. You can tell they care just as much about their customers as they do their food. Satterfield’s is the kind of place that makes you plan your next visit before you even leave. If you’re anywhere near Macon and love great barbecue with exceptional service, this is a must-stop.“
