“I have had wraps from here a couple of times but everytime it was a carry out due to Covid. But last night we went there to eat. I cant express in words the food was that level yummy. We ordered 2 cheese wraps and 1 falafel wrap. Both were perfectly delicious. The people that works there are amazing at making it. It was beyond my expectations compared to carry out. Besides food restaurant was clean and desert was a yum. But nothing could ever beat the warp. I highly recommend this place to everyone and recommend them to sit and eat there instead of carryout. Absolutely loved my food.”

I’m not a drinker so I have water. $13.49 Here were it went down for me, I paid with a card so the bartender D decided to tip himself $11.51 totally unprofessional. My two friends paid cash. “Food, service and atmosphere were impeccable. My husband and I went here for our anniversary dinner and could not have had a better experience.”

“Kinjo's is most definitely a nice, upscale restaurant with reasonable prices. The food is absolutely amazing here and well worth the price/wait. I would say the best way to dine at Kinjo's is either on a date, or even better, with friends. A group of 4 would be ideal as they have plenty of tables that seat 4, in addition to booths that accommodate for larger parties.

Dishes my partner and friends tried:

Small Plates/Appetizers and Drinks:
-Special Rangoon: I couldn't remember what the ingredients were in this one, but eating it warm/hot just allowed the fried wrapping to melt in your mouth, as well as the creamy filling. Very well made!
-Korean Fried Chicken: You absolutely cannot go wrong with this small plate. I think it's their best appetizer. The wings are just the right amount of sweetness that the sauce they use on them just makes you devour each wing quickly. They also have a nice crisp where the fried chicken isn't too hard or too soft, just right.
-Bao: So this was their pork belly dumpling. Very sweet and savory, the bun was also well made, very soft.
-Miso Corn and Bacon Fritters: This definitely had that Southern influence. There were pretty much hush puppies, also had the consistency of a corn dog. Combine both, and this was way better, the filling really did the job, tasted great.
-Sake Flight: This was a great drink for people like myself who are light drinkers and like to savor drinks. From back to front: Living Jewel, Junmai Well of Wisdom, and Ginjo Snow Maiden. My favorite was the Well of Wisdom because of how fruity the sake tasted, it stood out to me the most.

Entree (Curry Chicken Ramen):
-The flavor of the Curry for this Ramen was just perfect. It was so savory. The egg in my Ramen was cooked just right, with the yolk being jellied and soft enough to swallow/pick up with chopsticks. I wanted to drink the broth, but it was definitely too rich. I also liked how the noodles weren't too soft that they were easy to pick up in clumps.

Dessert (Sesame Butterscotch Blondie):
-This was a wonderful way to end our dinner. I really appreciated the thoughtfulness of the chef and the servers to let the Blondie/brownie cool down a bit so that when they top it off with ice cream, it won't melt so fast. Eating it with the ice cream and the caramel drizzle tasted amazing.

Service:
-I thought the food was delivered fast enough. We definitely weren't kept waiting too long. If you order a bit of each type of dish on the menu, it keeps a constant flow of food that you'll never be starving. Our servers were Ashlyn and her trainee Maria. Both of these ladies were excellent! Very polite. Ashlyn wowed me with her 110% upbeat attitude, attention to detail, and her professionalism. When I made my reservation on Resy, she asked immeadiately about my partner's onion allergy (which was actually more of an intolerance, his throat just gets really itchy when he eats foods with onions or onion powder in them). She took it so seriously that I was very impressed by Ashlyn's concern and hospitality to make sure that my partner would be able to enjoy the food. We also appreciated that she noticed my partner and I's Straw Hat pirate shirts from One Piece. She has such a wonderful personality and really knows how to engage guests. A wonderful hostess!

This was my 2nd time eating at Kinjo's. The first time, I had only ordered food for delivery. Dining in is definitely the way to go, it's the best way to enjoy all the food fresh!

The chicken was perfectly cooked and coated in a delicious, flavorful sauce that had just the right amount of heat and sweetness. “This comment is about the salad which was amazing but it's more geared to the young lady that works there. You see, I had just came from Atlanta verifying the news that I have the last stage of stomach cancer and was given two years to live. As I was sitting at the table waiting on my plate well my boyfriend and I, the tears came a flowing and the customers that was there couldn't see me crying but when this young lady saw me she asked if everything was ok and I couldn't hold the tears and I bawled like a newborn baby and what she did I knew there was a god and that would be my gi yo restaurant forever. She gave me a hug and yes I'm a hugger and she told me what ever I'm going through I will be ok and I cried on her shoulder for a bit and after i felt better. We both smiled and I left and went home. Then has I opened my salad to eat and the first bite was explosive well I would have said heaven but I can only imagine that part and I love God but not trying to go there no time soon lol so this salad was just amazing. I just had to leave this review to say that day my soul got fed just as well as my belly. Thank you young lady, you know who you are.”

“Last night we went to Fazoli’s on Zebulon Rd in Macon. We immediately were treated so well by the staff. The young lady bringing our food to us was very kind! A young man saw us seated and immediately said he would check on our food. He came back a few minutes later to offer freshly shaved cheese for our meals. He was so kind and courteous! We later asked him if he could grab the manager so we could brag on him and it turns out he is the manager. He was bussing tables, delivering food, checking on customers, sweeping floors, etc. that is the true example of a manager. Someone who is willing to jump in the trenches with his staff to ensure all is right. I am very impressed and thankful. The staff at this facility were just wonderful!!! Thanks!!”

“Any time I visit Macon I stop at Tommy’s for donuts. My joke is that I’ll drive up from Florida just for a Tommy’s maple bacon donut! There is none like it anywhere else. Tommy’s is real baking — not shipped in and thrown in the oven. A real gem! I bought donuts for the team at my former workplace. They were ecstatic.”

“First, I ordered cheddar cheese for my pizza the small meat and greet, it was made incorrectly. The wings are baked or boiled. They were dry and had no lemon pepper on them. The pizza would have been good if the cheese was on the meat instead of the crust. Why do you put the cheese on the crust? All my toppings fell off. I was very unhappy with my meal. I paid $45 for a backward meal. As I waited for my pizza to be corrected, I watched the pizza preparer not wash his hands, wipe his hands on his shirt, dig into his pockets, and proceed to make food. I called my daughter and told her to get the food because I wasn't eating it. The ladies were awesome though, with great personalities and they kept me laughing. They were the reason I kept my food in the beginning.”

In an area like West Macon, where healthy dining choices are hard to come by, The Salad Place is a much-needed gem. Their menu offers fresh, wholesome meals at reasonable prices. What truly made my visit unforgettable was the warm welcome from the Salad Queen herself, who came out of the kitchen to give me a hug. “Food was hot and good but these young girls one in particular claims her name was Bre whom worked the drive thru at approximately 6pm had a very nasty rude attitude n needs to go to customer service classes.. there was no problem with my food it was just her nasty attitude having to take the order and ask for napkins a spoon and hot sauce n my receipt paid she slammed the window just because I guess she was irritated by me asking for these things. “I went this store on Friday 3/24/2023 around 10:30 am. the employees made eye contact and greeted me when I walked into the store. The store was clean, the beverage area was clean too. I ordered a 2 piece meal with fries, I wanted spicy chicken but they did not have the spicy chicken. My food was hot, fresh and not salty. There was good communication between us. I did not have to ask for condiments, the employees put them in the bag without me asking, including hot sauce for my chicken. I read the reviews before I came to the store there were some reviews that were not favorable to Popeyes. One of the reviews was mine. I decided to give them another try and I was satisfied with the service and the food. Let's hope that we can all be satisfied with Popeyes chicken and service. If they continue with great service and good food. Maybe corporate listened to us and are attempting to make a positive change.”
