“Honestly, we eat here so much. Any chance I get to tell people my favorite restaurant, I tell them Chevo’s. I could point to anything on the menu to order and I already know it will be delicious. Everyone working up front is super friendly and are probably sick of seeing us 😂 I would probably eat anything that they would put in front of me. I just know it will be delicious no matter what. I definitely recommend the crab legs, quesadilla sincronizada, or chimichangas. My husband recommends anything with steak.“

“Super Taco Deli in Macon, Georgia, is the kind of small restaurant people drive past without realizing they just missed something special. I ordered a chorizo, egg, and cheese burrito, which was not listed on the menu, and they still made it without hesitation. I also ordered a carne asada quesadilla for my little one. From the start, the staff was polite, respectful, and accommodating, and that set the tone for the whole visit.

The burrito was exactly what I wanted. The tortilla was soft, the eggs were cooked clean with no burnt edges, and the cheese was spread through the burrito in the right amount. Every bite had chorizo, egg, and cheese instead of one ingredient taking over. The chorizo had that rich, seasoned, slightly smoky flavor with enough grease to carry the flavor without making the burrito heavy or sloppy. The texture was right too, tender but still with enough bite to remind you it was cooked properly. It reminded me of home back in Arizona, and that is not something I say lightly.

The fries came out golden, crisp, and cooked through, with not one burnt piece in the batch. The carne asada quesadilla was just as strong. My little one pulled out a piece of steak first, tasted it, and you could see the flavor hit her immediately. I tried a piece myself, and the meat was tender, well-seasoned, and cooked with care. The sauce bar was another win. It gave the meal that extra kick and made the whole experience feel even more complete.

The restaurant itself was quiet, clean, and easy to sit in. I got there just after opening, and they were already straightening up and making sure everything looked presentable. There was light music in the back, and Monsters University was playing in Spanish on the TV, which my little one enjoyed. The place has that small, tucked-away feel, like a neighborhood spot you stumble into and then wonder why more people are not talking about it. The menu is broad, the staff speaks English and Spanish, and they seem willing to work with you when they can.

This is the kind of place I would bring family back to without thinking twice. It is for people who care about flavor, portion size, and honest food made well. Skip it only if you need a flashy restaurant or some polished chain experience. Super Taco Deli deserves more attention because the food, service, and value are all there.

Would I go back? Yes, because the food tasted like home, the portions were worth the price, and the staff treated us right.“

“This restaurant features American, Cuban, and Mexican cuisine in a quaintly decorated establishment. Service was friendly, warm and hospitable. The Cubans came recommended, which my friend ordered, while I got the bistecca which came with rice, fries plantains, and yuca root. Everything was flavorful and came out hot and fresh.

“Super cute interior and huge inside. Definitely has a ranchero vibe. Full bar. For a chicken torta as big as your face plus fries it was about $12. It was not the best torta I've had, but it was very good and made for two meals. The birria tacos are the stars, though. Three large tacos with broth for dipping was about $11. A must try. So nice to find authentic Mexican food in Macon.“

My favorite part minus the food though… THE SWEET TEA IS THE BEST I’VE EVER HAD 🥹🥹🥹🥹. I’m so glad I got to experience this today and I will definitely be returning but not on a work day because I am sooooo sleepy and being pregnant does not help lol. Just to let everyone know though the food is wonderful, fresh, and made with love. “A hidden 💎. Listen the food is literally in a grocery store. The food was really fresh. All the meats I had were delicious ( barbaco, asada, pork, cabeza, chorizo), the tortillas were normal nothing special. The sauces were fresh and flavorful. The “ Agua Fresca” was also top tier because they have a variety of flavors (guava, pineapple,mango, papaya, tamarind, and horchata, they have more). Inexpensive delicious quality food. One person with use was a picky eater and they definitely had a language barrier but his food was still delicious even though it wasn’t want he was trying to order. It got smashed though“
